Pant goes again. Four more.
A tough chance for Moeen as Pant smashes the ball back at him. It has flicked the fingertips and still flies away of four.
Pant 41, Kuldeep 0
I'm not sure about sanity with Pant in the action but it should be entertaining.

Woken by same child as in the last Test, this time at the much less helpful hour of 1.30am. She is also not poorly this time, just being an absolute nuisance. It has been wailing, lost dollies, singing and random chat about giraffes for the last 2.5 hours. Please can England restore some sanity to my life? Thanks.

Different bowler. Same result.
Pant charges Root and heaves him away over the leg side to the delight of the crowd.
Any early change. Joe Root brings himself on to bowl Rishabh Pant, perhaps wary of Leach getting smashed again.

Andy: Mo has just summoned his inner Bess, full toss gets a wicket.
Moeen is hunting a five-fer on his return all of a sudden. Kuldeep Yadav is India's number 10.
Ishant c Burns b Moeen 0 (Ind 301-8)
Two in three balls for Moeen! England couldn't have wished for a better start than this.
New batsman Ishant Sharma tries to sweep his second ball, gets a top edge and it's the easiest of catches for Rory Burns at mid-wicket.
Axar st Foakes b Moeen 5 (Ind 301-7)
Ben Foakes' fast hands have done the trick. He had the bails off in a flash. It was a lovely bit of bowling from Moeen too. A bit of flight drew Axar Patel forward. He falls without adding to his overnight score.
Good start for England.
A wicket straight away for Moeen?! Axar Patel has been stumped - lovely bit of work from Ben Foakes.
We're just checking but England are confident.
Moeen Ali will begin from the Anna Pavilion End.
Pant 33, Axar 5
I doubt Leach sent Pant a Valentine's card after the mauling he gave him in the previous Test. Pant seemed to only want to play him one way - attack.
For now, Leach is out of the firing line. Leach begins with a maiden to debutant Axar Patel.
Pant saunters out to bat early on a Valentine's Day morning. Lovely.
Jack Leach has the ball in hand.
The common consensus seems to be India already have a lot of runs on a spinning pitch that will probably only get worse.
For England to have any chance they need to take these final four wickets quickly and then get their heads down and bat.
The presence of Rishabh Pant, who will resume on 33, may have given Joe Root a little nervous over night. Runs could come quickly.
We had a bit of everything yesterday. Entertaining cricket and a bit of controversy.
Jack Leach spoke about the third umpire mistake which saw him miss what should have been an easy decision for Ajinkya Rahane to be dismissed.
"At the time I was a little bit angry," said Leach.
"It's a bit like VAR today. It's still controversial even though you've got the video stuff there."
After England's sensational win in the first Test, the first day of the second was closer to what many expected during this series.
A dominant century for an India batsman, spin, an intense atmosphere and a tough day of bowling in difficult conditions.
England battled well but are still on the back foot.
