Luke Summers: Two hours for one innings?!

Alex Duffell: 2 hours to get through 20 overs. At this rate this match will last longer than the 3rd test match did.

  2. Eng 0-0published at 1 over

Dot balls are good, maidens are even better. Bhuvneshwar Kumar begins with accuracy and swing, Roy struggling to find the middle of the bat.

Jason Roy needs six more to reach 1000 T20 runs for England. But he's being made to wait as India start off with four dot balls.

As a bowler the main problem with the dew isn't necessarily gripping the ball, because there are plenty of towels to dry it on. Instead it's the pitch having more moisture on it that makes the ball skid on to the bat, making batting easier and cutting the bowlers' margin for error.

  6. Eng 0-0published at 0.1 overs

We saw this in the last game, Bhuvneshwar Kumar finds away movement with the very first delivery and Roy is happy to see it go past.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to kick things off with the ball, Roy on strike. In the meantime, here's another cricketing street name...

Not a bad recovery from England considering after one ball India's run rate was 36!

Jos Buttler and Jason Roy make their way to the middle. Virat Kohli is already out there and is having a bit of a chinwag with the umpire.

Game on. England will have to bat well to chase this down but it's definitely doable with the short boundary on one side and the dew getting worse.

Archer finished with 4-33 and bowled superbly. Adil Rashid, Ben Stokes, Mark Wood and Sam Curran shared the other four.

Another shocking pitch - the bounce nearly took that ball away from Malan.

I need a lie down. But I've got another 20 overs to do.

How we feeling? Game in the balance or India edging it? England have won eight of their last nine T20s when chasing.

  16. Ind 185-8published at 20 overs

    England need 186 to win

Thakur misses out on a wide full toss as a single ends India's innings.

Many highs and lows for both teams. England with regular wickets, contributions from several India batsmen.

But most notably, a brilliant knock of 57 from Suryakumar Yadav, in his first T20 innings.

  17. Ind 184-8published at 19.5 overs

Archer concedes a wide and then Shardul Thakur drills him through to the long-on boundary for four. Important late runs here for India.

    WICKETpublished at 19.4 overs

    Sundar c Rashid b Archer 4 (Ind 179-8)

The third umpire took an absolute age but it's been given out. Rashid's foot was very close but the boundary rope didn't look to move at all. So the right decision.

This is proving to be a decent last over for England.

  20. Umpire reviewpublished at 19.4 overs

Archer thinks he has his fourth as Sundar hits it straight into the hands of Adil Rashid at third man. But we're going back to the TV umpire? Was Rashid's back foot touching the boundary rope?

Soft signal is out. I may as well just copy and paste that.
