  1. No silence from the Lambspublished at 11:21 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159, Lancashire 366-6

While Josh Bohannon is still to get his first run of the day, as he patiently waits to get his 50, at the other end Danny Lamb has already moved on to 15.

That has helped stretch the Lancashire lead over Yorkshire past 200.

    Busy day for the Lambs.

Sister Emma is also currently batting, for Thunder against Western Storm in the Rachael Heyhoe Trophy. She is on 24.

  2. Postpublished at 11:20 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

    Sussex 175 & 148-4 v Northamptonshire 256

It's a 50-run partnership for Sussex pair Tom Haines (68 not out) and Ben Brown (35 not out).

A crucial time in the game this, with the hosts only leading by 67.

  3. Early strike at Edgbastonpublished at 11:09 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

    Warwickshire 341, Notts 177-4

First wicket of the day goes down in Birmingham as Craig Miles bowls Lyndon James for 4.

Skipper Steven Mullaney comes in to join Joe Clarke, who had just reached his half century - his fourth of the season.

  4. We're underwaypublished at 11:05 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

We're off and running in six of our seven games.

There's a little rain at Leicester delaying the start there, but even that won't be for long.

They're due to start at 11.10.

  5. rain stops play

Rain stops playpublished at 11:02 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

    Middlesex 295 & 57-1 v Leicestershire 136

Bad news from Grace Road I'm afraid where an early shower has delayed the start of Leicestershire's game with Middlesex.

    Gulp.

  6. Moving Day at New Roadpublished at 11:00 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

    Worcestershire 421, Derbyshire 91-3

    Dan Wheeler
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

Moving day, as they say, at New Road, with Worcestershire the favourites to put themselves in the best position to win the game - a must if they have any chance of mixing it with the top two at the end of the first group phase.

Derbyshire resume on 91-3 and with some momentum from last night thanks to an adhesive effort from Wayne Madsen and debutant Ben McDermott - son of Craig - who've steadied things nicely after they slipped to 58-3.

This is a decent wicket. There's something in it for the bowlers and, as Jack Haynes, Ed Barnard and Brett D'Oliveira have shown, runs are there to be had with the right application.

The brooding clouds are still stubbornly hovering, so the chance is there to force home an advantage if the Pears attack can be disciplined.

  7. Red on top in Roses Matchpublished at 10:57 British Summer Time 29 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159, Lancashire 350-6

Our main focus game today is the Roses Match and there's not much doubt who's in control at Old Trafford.

After bowling out Yorkshire cheaply on day one, Keaton Jennings' first century since 2018 has helped propel Lancashire into a 191-run lead. And the Red Rose will be looking to build on that against sorry Yorkshire today.

The Tykes are weakened, there's no doubt. No Joe Root, Gary Ballance, Dawid Malan or Jonny Bairstow.

But nobody scraps harder in any sport than a Yorkshireman in a Roses Match, so this game is a long way yet from a foregone conclusion. Stay tuned.

The dream team of Kevin Howells, BBC Radio Leeds' Jonathan Doidge and BBC Radio Lancashire's Scott Read are in place to talk you through every ball.

Talking of the weather, let's take a quick look at the BBC forecast - and it's good news.

Sunshine? On the afternoon of a bank holiday weekend?

It's unheard of but we'll take it.
