With his side looking a bit vulnerable he has steadied things and patiently waits to get the single he needs to reach his half-century.
Rossington normally scores quickly but this has taken him 93 balls, with Northants now leading by 233 runs and close to securing a draw with Kent.

Notts led by 127 runs with eight wickets remaining, so the decision makes sense.
They take 13 points from the contest while it's 11 for second-placed Essex, who are three points ahead of Notts in Group One having played a game more.

Every time you think Northants are starting to take victory out of Kent's reach, they lose a wicket.
Tom Taylor had done well and started to play some shots but maybe he gets too confident as he's well-caught in the slip cordon by Jordan Cox.
It's a super delivery from Nathan Gilchrist - he has three wickets and Northants lead by 200 runs with three wickets left.
