    Yorkshire 3-1 v Somerset 134

This is really probing stuff from Somerset's opening pair Josh Davey and Marchant de Lange.

Yorkshire are being given absolutely nothing by the pacemen with six overs gone.

    Warwickshire 0-0 v Hampshire 89

We're back from our delayed lunch at Edgbaston.

Dom Sibley and Rob Yates come out to start Warwickshire's innings.

It's Sibley's 26th birthday today by the way. Happy birthday Dom!

Replying to Worcestershire's 133 all out, Kent have just lost Zak Crawley, promoted to open today. The England man is out for five.

Leicestershire are now 127-2 in Division Three's other game with George Rhodes just getting out for 54, bowled by Derbyshire spinner Matt Critchley.

    Lyth c Davies b De Lange 0 (Yorkshire 1-1 v Somerset 134)

Definitely a day for the bowlers at Scarborough!

It's an absolute jaffa from Marchant de Lange - pace, bounce and nip away from the left-handed Adam Lyth and he can only feather it through to the keeper.

    Yorkshire 0-0 v Somerset 134

Adam Lyth and George Hill get things going for Yorkshire.

When you're batting mid-afternoon after your opponents choose to bat first, then you know something has gone right!

for Sam Northeastpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 5 September 2021

    Nottinghamshire 137-2 v Lancashire

A first 50 in Nottinghamshire colours for Sam Northeast.

The batsman reaches his milestone from 110 deliveries with nine fours.

Not a bad way to make your home debut.

De Lange b Fisher 22 (Yorkshire v Somerset 134 all out)

Revenge and five wickets for Matthew Fisher!

After Marchant de Lange had taken him for four, six, four, Fisher completes the over by bowling the Somerset number 11.

134 all out. Probably nowhere near enough.

  8. 6 runs

for De Langepublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 5 September 2021

    Yorkshire v Somerset 134-9

Somerset number 11 Marchant de Lange has a reputation for being able to smash it.

And he's just launched Matt Fisher for two fours and a six in the over to move to 22 off just 10 balls.

Frustrating 10 minutes or so for Yorkshire.

Two more teams have just been bowled out for under 100.

Gloucestershire are all out for 76 with Essex's Jamie Porter taking 4-32.

The visitors have responded well though, with Essex reduced to 22-2 including the key wicket of Alastair Cook for 15.

Meanwhile, Durham have bowled Glamorgan all out for 97. Paul Coughlin starring there with 4-11.

The hosts are 3-0 after two overs as they look to build a big total in response.

    Mohammad Abbas c Hain b Miles 1

What a decision from Warwickshire to put Hampshire in to bat first.

I wasn't sure at 44-1 but some great bowling - and very strange batting - have put Division One leaders Warwickshire in control.

Will Rhodes holds the ball to the sky after taking his second ever five-for.

    That'll be lunch too.

    Davey lbw b Fisher 4 (Yorkshire v Somerset 108-9)

    Fourth wicket for Matt Fisher!

Josh Davey is pinned lbw by the Yorkshire paceman who now has figures of 4-18.

Marchant de Lange is last man in for Somerset.

  12. Division Three updatepublished at 13:41 British Summer Time 5 September 2021

A seventh-wicket stand of 65 between Worcestershire pair Ben Cox and Joe Leach has just been ended by Kent. Leach was bowled by Nathan Gilchrist to leave the Pears 119-7.

Leicestershire are going along nicely in the other game in Division Three. They're 103-1 at Derbyshire with George Rhodes (41 not out) and Sam Evans (32 not out) just bringing up their fifty partnership.

    Leach c Lyth b Fisher 4 (Yorkshire v Somerset 100-8)

Somerset's batting woes continue at Scarborough and it's another fine slip catch from Adam Lyth.

An edge from Jack Leach off Matthew Fisher flies to Lyth who holds on.

The visitors are being turned over here.

Hundred up for Somerset, but boy it's been tough going.

Jack Leach is in at nine for the visitors with Josh Davey and Marchant de Lange still to come.

Still a few runs in the tank there.

James Vince goes on the attack. Four, then a six and finally he goes, caught of the boundary.

Warwickshire's Will Rhodes has his five-for. And Hampshire face the possibility of being bowled out before lunch on a sunny day at Edgbaston.

Ben Duckett doesn't add to his score after lunch, spooning a Danny Lamb delivery to Saqib Mahmood.

    Two in two!

James Fuller tries to leave it but his bats hanging to close to the ball. Poor technique and he edges it to the slips.

    Liam Norwell's on a hat-trick...
