    Just what Warwickshire needed.

Liam Norwell comes back into the attack and immediately strikes as Ian Holland edges to Rob Yates in the slips.

Frustrating for Holland, he'd got himself in and looked set.

200 up for Yorkshire and a first batting bonus point.

Although Somerset have taken the wicket of Harry Duke in this morning session, it's still been Yorkshire's first hour or so.

    The lead is 69.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Lamb c Moores b Paterson 15 (Nottinghamshire 272 v Lancashire 82-5)

    One brings two.

Lancashire are in a perilous position as Danny Lamb feathers one behind to the keeper.

Dane Paterson has his wicket, well-deserved he's been brilliant this morning.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:46 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Bohannon c Duckett b Hutton 35 (Nottinghamshire 272 v Lancashire 82-4)

    Big breakthrough.

A very important wicket for Nottinghamshire as Josh Bohannon falls for 35, edging Brett Hutton to Ben Duckett at second-slip.

That's wicket number three so far for Hutton, who breaks a 50-run partnership.

    Brilliant hundred!

Yorkshire batsman Harry Brook drives Tom Abell for back-to-back boundaries to move to his century off just 122 balls.

It's been an innings of the highest quality, with 16 fours and a six. He's put his side in the driving seat at Scarborough.

Briefly had a look at our England v India live text page.

What's just happened is on me guys. Rest assured, I'll only be concentrating on County Cricket from now on.

    It's for the greater good.

    Yorkshire 180-6 v Somerset 134

    Josh DaveyImage source, Rex Features

I just mentioned that Somerset paceman Josh Davey had been impressive in this innings.

His first-class bowling stats are certainly more than impressive.

138 wickets taken at an average of 21.44. That's up there with the best of them.

    Warwickshire 116 v Hants 89 & 84-1

Hampshire have recovered really well after that early wicket.

Ian Holland looks untroubled on 35 from 70.

New man Tom Alsop has got to 16 off 31.

    Duke b Davey 9 (Yorkshire 179-6 v Somerset 134)

    Harry DukeImage source, Rex Features

    Relief for Somerset.

The mightily impressive Josh Davey picks up his fourth wicket of the innings with an absolute peach which nips back in to Harry Duke and trims his bails.

Jordan Thompson joins Harry Brook in the middle with the lead standing at 45.

  13. Postpublished at 11:26 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Yorkshire 179-5 v Somerset 134

Harry Brook swats Tom Abell through mid-wicket for his 14th four to go to 90.

10 away from a fourth first-class century. And I'd imagine it'll be his best if he gets there.

  14. Postpublished at 11:22 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Yorkshire 174-5 v Somerset 134

Harry Brook and Harry Duke have just brought up their fifty stand at Scarborough.

The lead is up to 40 with five wickets left. What can Yorkshire stretch that to?

  15. Bedingham milestone on holdpublished at 11:14 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Durham 240-4 v Glamorgan 97

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

David Bedingham's hopes of becoming the first player this season to reach 1,000 Championship runs is now on hold again after he was dismissed today for 47.

He played over the top of a yorker from the Glamorgan bowler Michael Hogan and lost his off stump. So he needs eight more to reach 1,000, having been the first player past 700, 800 and 900. But it also opens the door for Worcestershire's Jake Libby.

Because of the cancellation of Durham's game with Surrey last week Libby has played one more game and was six runs ahead of Bedingham going into this round of matches but was out for just two yesterday.

It would be fitting if Durham's South African batsman got there first having been ahead of his rivals most of the summer. But Durham are now ahead by 143 runs at 240-4. Will Bedingham get the chance to bat again in this game?

It's a muggy morning and batting looks a bit tricky. Sean Dickson has also pulled up with an injury on 12 and now has Michael Jones as a runner.

Kent are continuing to build a healthy lead against Worcestershire at Canterbury. Jack Leaning and Darren Stevens both have unbeaten half-centuries with Kent on 197-4. They lead by 64.

And in the game that got under way today, Middlesex are 41-0 at Sussex.

    Yorkshire 168-5 v Somerset 134

Back out at North Marine Road after that brief rain delay.

Harry Brook is 16 away from a deserved century. He's been the best batsman in this game by a mile so far.

    Warwickshire 116 v Hants 89 & 55-1

Worth remembering Hampshire were 44-1 before collapsing to 89 all out. Warwickshire aren't out of this one with the visitors currently leading by 28.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 10:54 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Weatherley lbw b Norwell 24 (Warwickshire 116 v Hants 89 & 55-1)

Beauty from Bears paceman Liam Norwell!

Fast, full, nipping in - the ball catches Joe Weatherley on the pad in front of all three and up goes the finger.

Big early breakthrough for the hosts at Edgbaston.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 10:54 British Summer Time 6 September 2021

    Balderson c Patterson-White b Fletcher 19 (Nottinghamshire 272 v Lancashire 32-3)

Wicket number 55 for Luke Fletcher in this season's competition.

It's a standard delivery really, but George Balerson can only flick it to Liam Patterson-White at short mid-wicket for 19.

Josh Bohannon is the new batsman in. Lancashire have a lot of work to do.
