Does anyone know if anyone has cricket highlights for this series?
Gavin in Suffolk
Devon Conway has an optimistic swing at a Jimmy Anderson leg-side slider and gets away with it as the pad intervenes to clip the ball away for a single.
Vic Marks
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
It is already looking ominous for England. It is hardly zipping around.
Stuart Broad has just appealed for an lbw that was both too high and took the inside edge of the bat, so I think we can finally say that Test cricket is properly back.
Andy Zaltzman
Test Match Special statistician
Conway has a prodigious first-class record. He averages 47 in more than 100 games and has done very well for New Zealand in ODIs and T20s. In his first-class career he has only opened twice since 2011.

Another four to Devon Conway's tally, this time courtesy of a flowing drive that beats the man at extra cover.
It's been a pleasingly sedate start so far.

There is Test cricket with spectators at Lord's. The sun is out. Jimmy is opening the bowling and swinging the ball. Life is good. Genuine slight dampness in my eye.

Shot! Devon Conway picks up the first four of the match with a thumping drive through extra cover.
A not-too-pleased Stuart Broad then spears one past the outside edge of Conway's bat.
Phil Tufnell
Ex- England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
Good start from New Zealand. There has been a little bit of swing but the pitch looks good.
New Zealand are a good side. They have bags of experience with Williamson and Taylor to come.
Tom Latham comes very close to sending a Jimmy Anderson delivery back onto his stumps.
Anderson probably at about a six on the grumpy levels, by the way, which is strong when the Test is 23 minutes old.

The wicketkeeper is quite a crucial position for reviews. Bracey has got to be pretty confident on his debut. It is a bit of pressure on the youngster.
Devon Conway is off the mark with a slightly airy clip off the legs that has Broad holding his head in his hands afterwards.
Broad then pings the final ball down the slope for four byes. Oops.
Jeremy Coney
Ex-New Zealand captain on BBC Test Match Special
At 29, Devon Conway is quite old to be making his debut. He is a calm character. He hits thousands of balls and is someone who holds the bus back at training.
In four innings he will get England at least once somewhere. He is that good. He has the potential to be a superior player for New Zealand.
Anderson ends the over with a peach that whips past Tom Latham's inside edge.
We're three overs in and Anderson is already looking disgruntled. Strong start to the day.
A nice drive from Tom Latham is parried down by Rory Burns at backward point, before a streaky outside edge runs away for a couple.
The last time England played New Zealand at Lord's, this happened...
Latham 4, Conway 0
I regret to inform you that Stuart Broad has got rid of his headband.
Tom Latham pings a delivery off his legs for a couple of runs, before another easy single brings the over to a close.

BBC Sport at Lord's
Welcome back. You don't need me to tell you how wonderful it is to have Test cricket released from its bubble, on show in front of actual people.
Bar the obvious Covid precautions, little has changed, bar the magnificent remodelling of the Compton and Edrich Stands. Same bustle from St John's Wood Tube station, same daft taste in blazer from some MCC members, same comforting voice of the stadium announcer. There was even something reassuring about seeing the touts outside the ground.
An infuriation over England's team selection is familiar, too...
