up for Glamorganpublished at 38 overs

    Durham v Glamorgan 201-5

Joe Cooke has been after this slog sweep for a bit and finally gets a chance.

It's well stuck and comfortably clears the midwicket fence.

Tries to go again and it's flat and on the bounce to deep square.

  3. Glamorgan 190-5published at 37 overs

    Cooke 19, Cullen 12

Teasing stuff from Scott Borthwick, not helped by a bad misfield at extra-cover that concedes a single to the final ball.

  4. Glamorgan 185-5published at 36 overs

    Cooke 16, Cullen 10

Tom Cullen is just struggling to find his rhythm.

Can't get the left-armer away and the over concedes just a single.

If these two are in for the next 10 overs of the last 15, Glamorgan will end up with 300, just because of the way they play.

Joe Cooke is a strong, agressive batsman and they also run well between the wickets.

It's just those wickets in hand that will be the main concern.

  7. Glamorgan 184-5published at 35 overs

A sweet sweep from Joe Cooke finds the boundary at square leg.

They run the rest of the over around and it's a better set for Glamorgan.

  8. When crowd catches go wrongpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 19 August 2021

Seen plenty of acrobatic efforts from spectators holding on to catches in the crowds at The Hundred recently.

This one though from earlier probably won't make those sorts of compilations.....

  9. Glamorgan 175-5published at 34 overs

    Cooke 8, Cullen 9

Glamorgan need a stand after that burst of wickets.

Can this pair tick over at 5-6 an over and try and set things up for the back end?

Not a tremendous amount to come.

    A quiet over.

This is a key partnership now for Glamorgan. This pair have got them out of tough situations before.

300 looks a long way off, but if they can add another 100 between them then it gives them a really good chance.

  11. Glamorgan 172-5published at 33 overs

    Cooke 6, Cullen 8

Joe Cooke has a dance first ball and squirts an edge to third man for four.

Then Tom Cullen struck on the pad having a walk.

It looks quite straight but so hard to tell that far down.

In fact Hawk Eye has it hitting.

  12. Glamorgan 167-5published at 32 overs

    Cooke 1, Cullen 8

Matty Potts' fine spell ends and Ben Raine returns.

Tom Cullen pulls a boundary first ball but then five dots.

  13. Glamorgan 163-5published at 31 overs

    Cooke 1, Cullen 4

What a burst from Matty Potts and Glamorgan have lost 3-3 in 14 balls.

Having been going so well, that terrible shot from Nick Selman has opened an end up and now Glam have got work to do to try and reach 300.

Scott Borthwick able to run through a cheap set here.

The game was getting away from Durham there in that middle period with the partnership between Nick Selman and Kiran Carlson.

Scott Borthwick acted quickly there to bring his strike bowler back on and it's rewarded them hugely.

This is going to be a scrap now for Glamorgan to try and score as many as they can and not lose too many more wickets.

Joe Cooke defends the last ball of that Matty Potts over.

The seamer with 3-26 now off his seven overs and what a second spell it's been from the Pavilion End.

Huge wicket and Matty Potts strikes again for Durham!

Kiran Carlson's fine innings comes to an end as Glamorgan lose a third wicket for just three runs in the space of 13 balls.

A fine outside edge through to Cameron Bancroft sees him depart for 82.

Durham in the box seat now.

Billy Root clearly still seething about that lbw decision.

Television pictures show him watching the replays in the Glamorgan dressing room and giving it the T-signal!

Scott Borthwick rattles through an over in next to no time there.

Just a couple of singles from it as Glamorgan look to rebuild yet again in this innings.

Good spot from my BBC colleague Mark Church earlier about the impressiveness of Kiran Carlson's tache - and his likening of him to the fourth musketeer, D'Artagnan.

But, as his 10 fours and three sixes have shown in a superbly fashioned fifty, the Cardiff-born batter is also the possessor of a fine attacking blade.

Swashbucklijng stuff! He totally dominated that stand of 106 in 16 overs with the now departed Nick Selman to the tune of 81 of them.

Glammy are now even more grateful to him after the loss of those two quick wickets.
