WICKET Allen b Lyth 5published at 20:09 British Summer Time 2 July 2021

    Yorkshire 180-4 v Lancashire 13-1 (1.5 overs)

He opened the batting, now he's opening the bowling - and Adam Lyth strikes as Finn Allen goes right across his stumps and fails to make contact as he tries to swing the ball away to square leg.

Keaton Jennings had a let-off from the previous delivery as George Hill failed to hang onto a diving chance at point from a reverse sweep. We mustn't be hard on the fielder, though, it was a brilliant stop.

    Yorkshire 180-4 v Lancashire 12-0 (1 over)

Matt Fisher gives Keaton Jennings too much width and the left-hander cuts for four. The Yorkshire seamer errs again and Finn Allen pulls to long leg for another boundary. A bouncer ends the over and Allen is content to bend his knees and get underneath it.

  3. Postpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 2 July 2021

    Worcestershire 147-4 v Derbyshire (17 overs)

Derbyshire's Logan van Beek had to run 40 yards to get there but his pace sees Worcestershire's Ross Whiteley caught out for 37 just after hitting a six.

    Worcestershire 137-3 v Derbyshire (15 overs)

There's a spring in Worcestershire's step at the moment.

Brett D'Oliveira's 43 has been the highlight so far, as the visitors try to lift themselves into an-all important top four spot in the North Group table and qualify for the knockout stages.

All five batsmen have racked up double figures in Derby.

Jack Leaning and Jordan Cox both into the 30s as they keep building a handy partnership for the fourth Kent wicket.

Superb timing by Harry Brook, who sashays to the leg-side then moves to the off before lifting a ball from Luke Wood over fine leg for four.

Wood is guilty of a full-toss no-ball giving the Vikings a free hit but George Hill can only make one after a fine diving stop by the fielder at point.

Brook flays the next through mid-off for four and takes one from another full toss to retain the strike- 15 from the over for Yorkshire. Brook has 76 and Hill is on 18.
