Well done Freya Davies, she's stuck with it against two of the world's top batters. New Zealand were scoring at a good rate, for me to try and reverse-sweep Davies was a bit unnecessary. There were other options. Satterthwaite's so experienced, she's better than that.
NZ 68-2
Bonus breakthrough for England!
Amy Satterthwaite decides to try and reverse paddle Freya Davies' last ball of the over after a tidy few balls from the England seamer.
She gets it all wrong, misses it and the stumps are rearranged.

You've got to ask your ring fielders to keep it tight, you don't mind the odd one going through to the sweepers but what you don't want is fours and sixes.

You've got to be attacking with these fields to pick up wickets, as otherwise Devine can just knock the ball around to win it.
Looking like a night to remember for Devine in more ways than one at this stage.
She's 34 not out off 28 balls as Freya Davies returns.
England need to see the back of shots like this one ASAP...

We forgot to mention, it's Sophie Devine's 100th T20 international cap today. We saw her presented with the cap by Suzie Bates and Amy Satterthwaite as she joins them in the "100 club".
Need 63 from 66 balls
Looking New Zealand's match here with Sophie Devine at the crease.
She almost picks up four more later in the over but Sophia Dunkley is there to stop a pull shot down to deep square leg.
A wide in the over as well from Sciver is not what England needed. They've taken just the one wicket so far, that of Suzie Bates.

A short ball, but Devine's on another level there. That's gone over one of those boxes.

That's gone miles, that's out of the ground. She looked at the toe of her bat afterwards - if only I could toe it out of the ground!
A third six for Sophie Devine and she looks like she will make England pay for that drop.
Massive hit into the legside and over the hospitality suite by the big scoreboard.
Target 128
Nat Sciver into her third over as she tries to rally her troops.

That's a big drop. It came hard at her at fine leg above her head - a tough chance, but she'll be absolutely gutted to have shelled that one.
NZ 54-1
Oh no! That's a huge chance.
England think they've got the danger player as Sophie Devine sweeps in the air to Sarah Glenn and short fine leg.
She looks like she's held on to it but then spills it above her head at the second attempt.

That was really inventive from Satterthwaite, a little reverse lap-sweep which makes the [fielding] captain think twice.
50 up for New Zealand as Amy Satterthwaite plays a reverse sweep fine for four.
Plenty for Nat Sciver and England to ponder here with their field settings.
Sophie Ecclestone into a second over, so spin from both ends now.

Devine's looking a bit of a worry for England, she looks very confident. It's fantastic to watch her play.
Target 128
Some good flight and changes of pace from Sarah Glenn.
She deceives Sophie Devine with one that she tries to sweep and misses.
Looks like her and Amy Satterthwaite will have to force the ball a bit more into gaps.
Four off the over.

Tim Solley: That’s great work from Mady Villiers, practised throwing the stumps down the ball before narrowly missing, but hit them when it mattered!
