Carlos Brathwaite
West Indies all-rounder on BT Sport
All of the wickets came from hostile fast bowling from West Indies. It's job done as far as they are concerned but the manner of it could have been better. A brilliant grab from Jason Holder. He has a lovely pair of hands, and made up for that earlier drop.

Bairstow c Holder b Joseph 140
A brilliant tumbling catch from Jason Holder after Jonny Bairstow skied one behind point attempting to go big off Alzarri Joseph.
Holder, who dropped a sitter earlier, makes amends by getting himself into position under the ball, swirling in the wind above him.
The all-rounder clings on following the kind of twisted dive Tom Daley would be proud of.
England all out for 311.
Kemar Roach's emotions range from incandescence to disbelief after he draws an edge from Jack Leach's bat which goes between wicketkeeper and first slip.
Joshua Da Silva and John Campbell look at each other, in the manner of Laurel and Hardy.
Roach, meanwhile, cannot even bear to look in their direction at the end of the over as he stomps back to his fielding position
Jonny Bairstow is grinning now after being outfoxed by Kemar Roach.
An orthodox field seemingly offering Bairstow the single but Roach's first ball is quick and short, and the England batter reacts late to duck out the way.
Smart bowling from Roach.
That brings the bespectacled Jack Leach to the crease.
Jonny Bairstow is spitting feathers that a short ball to Alzarri Joseph to Leach is not given as a wide by the umpires.
He probably has a point.

NobbyNobbs: This mythical number 300? What does it mean? What does it do? Are they all Spartans now?
Wood c Permaul b Joseph 1 (Eng 305-9)
West Indies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite has been absolutely on point with his bowling changes today.
He chucks the ball to Alzarri Joseph who immediately gets a wicket with his first over of the day.
Joseph bangs the ball in short and Wood takes on the hook shot and is caught by Veerasammy Permaul stationed at point.
I'm sure there's one sitting in a dusty digital BBC archive somewhere along with the lost episodes of Dad's Army, Charlie.
Jonny Bairstow clips ones away first ball from Alzarri Joseph to get Mark Wood on strike again.

Charlie: I was expecting flashy graphics and fireworks for the 300, you've had long enough to prepare that.
Very good ,Natalie.
Mark Wood with a big waft of the willow to one that swings away through the air from Kemar Roach, but he fails to make contact.
The West Indies quick then beats the outside edge of Wood's bat in more orthodox fashion with one which jags back.
Roach finishes with two dots to bring up a maiden.

Natalie Lewis: There's another typo again, it says we reached 300.
A wild slog across the line from Jonny Bairstow, who has signaled his intentions, and the ball flies over the slip cordon.
Jayden Seales marches down the pitch, in the manner of an angry neighbour who has caught you playing football on their lawn, and eyeballs Jonny Baristow who simply purses his lips and shrugs his shoulders.
A lot more delicate from Bairstow off the fourth ball of the over with a cushioned guide through the third man region for another boundary.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the 300 up for England.

Ben: Saw lots of fans and pundits saying England did well yesterday - we were 48-4 and we’re on for another below average first innings score. Bairstow’s done a ‘Root’ and carried the batting. Struggling to even get to 300 again - it’s just the same old England
A slower ball out the back of the hand from Jason Holder, but Jonny Bairstow picks it and crunches it through the covers for four.
A couple of balls later and Bairstow mistimes one back at Holder, who spills a relatively straightforward caught-and-bowled chance.
That's bread and butter for the all-rounder who has one of the safest pairs of hands in the West Indies team.
Watchful from Mark Wood to Jayden Seales thus far.
Seales, sporting a white watch on the wrist of his left hand and a thick sweatband on his right, bowls a maiden.
A mixture of short balls, wider ones and angled at the stumps but Wood is keen to hang around here.

The Headingley Test against India last summer was the last time England reached 300, by the way.
Mark Wood is the new man. Does Jonny Bairstow cut loose now? He has faith in Wood and plays cautiously to Jason Holder, who is nags and probes away at the other end with a tight over.

Charlie: We saw 300 creeping up and couldn't face the prospect of reaching it.
