A bit of liquid refreshment for the players. Much needed for England's bowlers.
The new ball is due straight away after this break.
Mark Wood bangs one in short but it sits up and asks to be hit and Nkrumah Bonner duly obliges, getting over the top of it and pulling it for four through mid-wicket. West Indies' first boundary of the day.
Next ball Wood is short and wide outside off and Bonner leans back and devilishly cuts him for another four through point.
Number 10 buses and all that...

Chris Rousell: With Stokes, Foakes, and Woakes all featuring in the England XI, it raises the obvious question: what is the most number of players with rhyming surnames to feature in a Test XI together?
Trail by 93 runs
Jack Leach strikes Joshua Da Silva on the pad with his first ball and England's fielders go up but the appeals was in vain as the delivery hasn't straightened enough and was drifting down leg.
West Indies scramble a leg bye, their only run of the over.

Lee: Think what we all want to know, was Wood in the huddle today or was he still holding his own private huddle?

Is there a more likeable person in world sport than Mark Wood? You can tell how much he lifts a team just by being around.
"This pitch is horrible" an England player mutters to Nkrumah Bonner at the end of that Ben Stokes over.
Mark Wood is bounding in giving his all for the cause. His fourth ball jags back off the pitch but Joshua Da Silva is confident where his off-stump is and leaves well.
Da Silva pinches a single off the final ball of Wood's over to keep the strike as Jack Leach warms up to replace Stokes.

Martin Carritt: Ben Stokes is in the team as an all-rounder. Granted he’s classed as batting all rounder but if cannot bowl 20 overs per innings there is something seriously wrong. Of course we do not want a Flintoff situation but he should be able to cope with that workload.
Of course, I'm not suggesting hedgehogs do, or indeed should, frequent saunas on a regular basis...
Good disciplined bowling from Ben Stokes backs up a maiden from Mark Wood as he bangs the ball into the pitch on a couple of occasions.
Three runs taken from it as Nkrumah Bonner and Joshua Da Silva pick their scoring opportunities carefully.

Dave Goddard: Still holding out that I will someday see Woakes c Foakes b Stokes....
Three dots from Mark Wood to start as his spiky hair starts to moisten with beads of sweat, looking like a hedgehog who has just come out of a sauna.
He backs it up with another three dots as Nkrumah Bonner defends well.

Jason Holder played so patiently and diligently yesterday - that's a key wicket for Ben Stokes and England to get early on today.
Just one run for West Indies from the over. Ben Stokes puffs his cheeks out and exhales as he collects his England cap from the umpire and heads back to his fielding position.
Mark Wood to continue.
A bouncer from Ben Stokes to Nkrumah Bonner who cloths an attempted pull and the ball spoons up. Ollie Pope, on as a sub fielder for Zak Crawley, comes sprinting in from mid-wicket and dives full length but is unable to quite cling on.
England's plans creating chances early in this session.

A very breezy morning - even more wind than yesterday blowing across the ground.
The sun is shining, we might get a couple more showers during the course of the day

Tim Dart: Whilst it is great to have Stokes back in the side and bowling, I fear that Root will revert to how he used Archer and break him as well. Maybe captain Stokes would use himself better
Just the one slip in place, and quite a few fielders on the leg-side for Mark Wood who looks intent on targeting the stumps with the odd short delivery.
he manages to get some swing through the air from his third delivery but Joshua Da Silva prods it into the off side for a well-judged single to get off the mark.

I hope they do bowl well but Woakes and Stokes are change bowlers, not opening bowlers in my opinion

Thanks, Peter. Pitfall of the job.
Another sunny breezy day in North Sound, the England flags draped on the are fluttering in the breeze blowing across the ground.
A brief delay during Ben Stokes' over as Jonny Bairstow charitably does Joshua Da Silva's laces up for him.
Mark Wood loosening up to bowl after this over concludes.
