  1. drinks break

    WI 108-5published at 50 overs

Root continues. Da Silva is as watchful as a hawk, nudging to mid-wicket for two runs.

The England captain bowls wide of the off stump and Da Silva cuts through backward point for a boundary.

Time for drinks. We all need one.

  2. WI 102-5published at 49 overs

"Nice one, Leach buddy," says the wicket-keeper.

"Come on, Leachy," says another fielder.

"Well done, Leacho," a third adds.

But Brathwaite blocks out all six deliveries.

England are fully on the attack. Five men around the bat, four on the leg side. It is not often you see that.

Joe Root comes on with a slip, two short-legs, a leg-slip and a leg-gully in place.

Da Silva goes on the attack - taking a step back and pulling through the leg side for four. Those close fielders all taking evasive action.

And again. A carbon copy boundary. Too short from Root. Nine from the over.

    Maiden.

    *Slight exaggeration.

    I don't know, James. I just don't know.

Brathwaite takes a single. Da Silva smartly leaves one which keeps straight from Lawrence.

In comes Joshua Da Silva. Opting for a cap over a helmet. He sees out the remaining three deliveries.

We have a minimum of 20 overs remaining. England need five wickets. Will the light hold?

That's twice in this match that Holder has thrown his wicket away.

    Holder c Lawrence b Leach 0 (WI 93-5)

Catches win matches! Dan Lawrence has just pulled off a terrific grab to boost England's chances of a stunning victory!

It probably isn't the best delivery from Jack Leach. But it is definitely an awful shot from Jason Holder who tamely chips towards cover where Lawrence dives to his left and take a brilliant two-handed grab.

  12. WI 93-4published at 44 overs

Oof. Lawrence finds sharp turn once again. The ball lands on middle and spins out of Ben Foakes' reach down the leg side.

Penny for your thoughts, Rooty? Time for some Ben Stokes magic?

  13. WI 92-4published at 43 overs

Another over of spin goes by. Brathwaite manages to poke, leave and block away Leach's over.

At the moment, Lawrence looks the more threatening of the two spinners.

  14. WI 92-4published at 42 overs

Another close call. Lawrence drifts it in. Holder inside edges and the ball fall dead by his feet.

Holder is yet to score off 17 deliveries. For West Indies it is just a case of taking this over by over. They have two vastly experienced players out there.

Bairstow has a buddy. Joe Root has planted himself right next to him at gully. Both are on their knees. We also have a slip, leg-slip and short-leg.

    Maiden from Leach.

  16. WI 91-4published at 40 overs

Another shout for lbw as Lawrence bowls a cracking delivery spinning back into Brathwaite. Root wisely opts not to review with replays showing it would have sailed over the stumps.

England continue to pile the pressure and Lawrence is looking like much more than just a part-time spinner.

That was a good over from Leach, buoyed by his wicket. Six balls in the right place, and he's got Holder fidgeting a bit.

Bairstow is still fielding with his knees flat on the ground. Holder edges just wide of him at gully.

The atmosphere has picked up massively in Barbados. The Barmy Army are making some noise.

The ball is spinning. Put the ball in the right place and it's doing it. That's England's challenge now.

  20. WI 89-4published at 38 overs

Beaten! Brathwaite is on the back foot and is fortunate not to nick it.

England fielders are throwing their hands up after each delivery. The men circling around Brathwaite are making plenty of noise.

    There's spin. There's bounce. There's belief.
