The killer there was the soft signal being not out. On the replays it always looks less flattering to the fielder.

I would have given it out. India have a right to be aggrieved, and England have probably got away with one.

That looked as though it had bounced, to me, and a few of the India fielders actually started walking away from the huddle while the replay was going on. It would have been so difficult to overturn it with the soft signal of not out.

So Sciver survives and Amy Jones is with her. Harmanpreet Kaur was ecstatic, she was convinced.

England need to knuckle down, it was a loose shot from Sciver given the wicket that had just fallen.

India have taken that surprisingly well, although Taniya Bhatia doesn't look pleased.

There were lots and lots of replays, none of them showing any particularly solid evidence. The soft signal was not out so that's what's hurt India there.

I think we're going to have some soft signal controversy here.

This is a huge moment in the game.

    India like it.

Nat Sciver drives firmly to mid off, Harmanpreet Kaur dives forward and claims a wonderful catch low to the ground.

Sciver isn't going anywhere, so we're taking a look ...

That is a great bit of glovework!

    Winfield-Hill c Bhatia b Pandey 42

    Another one down!

I was just typing this sentence when that wicket fell: Shikha Pandey bowled very nicely to Winfield-Hill in her opening spell and India need her wicket.

And Pandey has delivered with the batter playing a loose drive that takes a thick outside edge and that is a sharp take from Taniya Bhatia. We've been treated to some stunning wicketkeeping today and India are delighted with that.

The last six overs have gone for six, six, six, six, five and four.

There's just a couple of boundaries in there and a lot of singles.

  11. Eng 81-2published at 18 overs

Please, India, just plug a couple of these gaps. It's too easy for England to get four or five an over with singles that they could probably walk.

India need wickets to win this game, saving boundaries won't win it for them.

England are picking up at least four singles an over quite easily at the moment.

Winfield-Hill defends Poonam Yadav straight back to her which draws a mock-throw from the bowler. You love to see it.

England take five singles with no risk whatsoever.

England are there or thereabouts with Duckworth-Lewis-Stern.

Sneh Rana comes into the attack. I wonder if she's recovered from all the overs she bowled in the Test match yet?

The ring fielders are quite deep and England can take singles quite comfortably - perhaps India could put a little bit more pressure on England by challenging the batters to hit over them for their runs.

Lauren Winfield-Hill has looked in good touch, particularly for the game's first six.

The England batting line-up is so different to the India one because they are adaptable.

  18. Eng 66-2published at 15 overs

    Winfield-Hill 35, Sciver 4

Winfield-Hill dances down the track to Yadav again for a couple of runs, never really challenging mid on for the catch.

Yadav really gives the ball some air so using your feet is probably a good idea.

The India crowd are still making plenty of noise out there.

As a specialist fine leg myself, I can relate to Alex there. At least it saves you being banished down there after dropping a catch somewhere else, though.

The players are back out after the drinks break and Poonam Yadav continues.

During The Hundred, Kate Cross is going to be captain. I've tried to get better at fielding, because everyone knows I'm not very good at it, and I've been at mid-off and I've taken some "speccie" catches, but we've got Harmanpreeet Kaur who fields there too, so I fear I'll be back down at fine leg.
