My favourites have slightly changed, I'm switching horses after the toss. The pitch is green, it looks fresh and juicy and we've seen how devastating this New Zealand bowling line-up can be. I feel India have got it all to do today.

Right, what's going on then?

We have got live coverage of two (yes, two) Test matches at the same time.

The first (or is that second?) day of the WTC final gets under way at 10:30 BST in Southampton.

Then, half an hour later, England continue their push for victory over India on the final day of the one-off Test in Bristol. India will resume on 83-1 in their second innings, still needing 82 to avoid an innings defeat.

Good morning again from Southampton.

There were cheers here when Williamson announced New Zealand would bowl first. The Black Caps fans are happy to get first use of favourable conditions. I think the India fans, who heavily outnumber their counterparts, are just happy to see that batting line-up bat.

To confirm, New Zealand include all of Kyle Jamieson, Neil Wagner, Trent Boult and Tim Southee in their XI. Colin de Grandhomme provides back-up seam and wicketkeeper BJ Watling plays his final Test before retirement.

In contrast, India play two spinners in Ravi Jadeja and R Ashwin.

India captain Virat Kohli: "We would have probably bowled first looking at the conditions but runs on the board has been our strength, we bat deep. It's a big final, runs on the board are a bit of an advantage first up.

"The balance of our side is such that we prepare for conditions which might change or vary, our two spinners can bowl in any condition.

"We've been performing very well in Test cricket and been the top side so this is just another Test match we need to be professional in."

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson: "With the conditions, a bit of weather around, hopefully we can make the most of it first up, get a bit of seam movement. I think the wicket will be fairly consistent throughout the game with the cool weather.

"We've gone for four frontline seamers and Colin de Grandhomme as our all-rounder, so no spinner.

"It's a great occasion and challenge against the best team in the world. It's great to be here for the first World Test Championship final and the guys are excited."

Virat Kohli says he would have fancied a bowl first, but thinks putting runs on the board could be an advantage.

No changes to the India team that was named two days ago.
