That Kohli wicket knocked me off my thoughts about Wet Wet Wet.

In fairness to them, Wishing I Was Lucky is a tune, but Love Is All Around makes me want to scream into a pillow. Wasn't it number one for about four years?

This is more like the New Zealand that I remember against England. They've been lifted by that wicket.

New Zealand are getting this right now. Boult rattles Rahane on the front pad with an inswinger that would have been curtains had there not been an inside edge.

There were more cheers than I expected when the decision was confirmed. That tells you there are a few Black Caps supporters in and maybe neutrals are on their side too.

Rishabh Pant could be the man that makes this game.

Rishabh Pant is the new man, the kind of player that can alter this Test in the space of 45 minutes.

We talked about Jamieson's in-swinger yesterday, and that's the first time he bowled it this morning. He set that up with out-swinger after out-swinger and just nipped one back in. Clever bowling.

Kolhi lbw Jamieson 44 (Ind 149-4)

Have we just seen the ball that will change this final?

Kyle Jamieson has the huge wicket of Virat Kohli with a beautiful inswinger that would have taken the top of leg stump.

Not much of a stride from Kohli, who hasn't capitalised on yesterday's hard work.

    Massive.

Loud cheers as Kohli reviews. This could be the ultimate party poop.

    Jamieson the bowler. Both pads...

It's Virat Kohli! He's been given!

    What a huge moment.

He has to review, doesn't he?

No one should be playing Wet Wet Wet songs. Ever.

On the subject of bad light, and when it is or isn't fit for play, should extra consideration be taken to the fact that this a showpiece final? Do the umpires feel obliged to keep the players out there for longer because it's such a big occasion, or are they acting as they would for every other match?

Just a bit too much width there from Jamieson. I'd like to see him making the batsmen play a bit more.

Kyle Jamieson at the other end. The big man has already got his shirt untucked. Rahane takes his bottom hand off the bat and turns the ball fine for the first run of the day. Jamieson hasn't found his line yet.

A chant of “Koh-li! Koh-li! Koh-li!” went around the ground before he had even done anything there.

Virat Kohli is determined. You can see it in his eyes, he just wants to bat.

Just two deliveries of the Boult over to complete. Kohli is right forward in defence, almost sniffing the ball.

You could see in Virat Kohli's innings yesterday that he sensed the value of the single and the two. And that the most important shot of the day, arguably, was the leave.
