England have brought in the third slip and it works a treat!
Cameron Green's quiet summer with the bat continues.
There is a little bit of hope and an opening for England.

Cameron Green has to cement the number six position as a batter and he hasn't done that yet. He'll get plenty of opportunity though because he's playing in a winning side and doing well with the ball.
But the reason that Mitch Marsh couldn't pin the position down was because of his batting.
Green c Crawley b Broad 5 (Aus 242-5)
Stuart Broad strikes again! This time it does carry to the slip cordon as all-rounder Cameron Green's lean run with the bat continues.
It's similar to the delivery which almost brought Mark Wood a wicket as Green prods at a fuller one from Broad and the ball carries to third slip where Zak Crawley takes a smart low catch.
Could this be one of those days when Broad runs through the opposition?
Mark Wood glanced to the skies and roared with frustration after that chance went begging.

It definitely bounced before Joe Root but the slip placement is terrible.
Ben Stokes and Joe Root are very close - which they shouldn't be. If you're not staggered you both can't go for the ball because you'll bang hands. England should cover much more territory with their slip cordon.

Joe Root can only look around ruefully.
It was a thick edge, off the shoulder of the bat, but it died as it reached Root.
Mark Wood bustles into the crease and is hurling the ball down with plenty of zip.
The penultimate ball of his over draws a tentative prod from Cameron Green and the edges flies between first and second slip.
Did it carry? Probably not.

Steve Smith didn't really need to play at that ball - it was a mind blank.

It was the wobble ball from Stuart Broad. It is a strange shot from Steve Smith - he hasn't quite been the same since he got hit on the hand. It was well bowled by Broad.
Smith c Buttler b Broad 67 (Aus 234-4)
Gone! Stuart Broad strikes.
Steve Smith appears slightly late with his decision on whether to play at a angled delivery from Broad which climbs into him and the Aussie waggles his bat at it.
The ball takes the edge and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler gobbles up the catch. Smith whacks his hand against his bat in frustration. A momentary lapse in concentration has cost him.
