    Gardner run out (Knight/Jones) 12 (Aus 141-6)

    Gone!

A huge mix-up as Beth Mooney almost stops mid-pitch after prodding the ball to mid-wicket which then causes Ashleigh Gardner to hesitate.

Heather Knight fields it cleanly and her throw finds the gloves of Amy Jones, who whips the bails off.

    Sharp stuff again from England.

Sophie Ecclestone applauds Danni Wyatt after she races around and cuts off a sweep from Beth Mooney which seemed destined to cross the rope. England have been good in the field today.

A couple of balls later England have a sniff of a run out after Ashleigh Gardner attempts to ground her bat after some hesitation to run a risky single.

    This looks close.

Australia will be really disappointed. Even if they go at six an over they are only going to get 215.

  4. Aus 138-5published at 37.0 overs

Kate Cross returns as Heather Knight shuffles her pack again and she responds with a tight over of wicket-to-wicket deliveries and two runs from it.

Four an over from here gets Australia to 185. six an over and they will be up at 215.

  5. Aus 133-5published at 35.2 overs

Sophie Ecclestone back into the attack, but Ashleigh Gardner capitalises on little bit of width and back cuts the England left-arm spinner for four through the point region. Ecclestone looks to the heavens and roars in frustration.

  6. Aus 126-5published at 35.0 overs

Top stuff from Katherine Brunt, who came back well with a wicket and just one run off that over having taken a bit of tap. Good captaincy from Heather Knight to stick with her too, lesser skippers might have flapped there.

England just need to keep nibbling the ball up and around that fourth and fifth stump line.

That was the nip-backer again. Brunt is pumped. It was well bowled. On this wicket if you target the stumps the ball misbehaves a little and then it is incredibly tough to bat.

    Katherine Brunt, partnership breaker!

Australia had just started to find some momentum but Brunt has got a big wicket at the key time.

Tahlia McGrath went back and tried to open the face to play it through the off side but Brunt is able to get some movement off the pitch and the ball clatters into the stumps.

  9. Aus 123-4published at 33.2 overs

A lovely shot from Beth Mooney who leans back, gives herself some room, and uses the face of the bat to lift a short ball over the head of Amy Jones and it races away behind for four.

Brunt has just kept things simple. That is what she has done so well. There is no need to bowl those back-of-the-hand slower balls. Not at this stage of the game away.

Katherine Brunt's bowling: 9% full, 72% good length and 19% short. 7 overs, 1 maidens, went for 27 runs, took 0 wickets with an economy of 3.86.

First time Australia have scored more than 10 off an over. That was very premeditated from the Aussie batters, though, so England's bowlers will have a chance.

Another couple of boundaries for Australia off Katherine Brunt in the next over. First Tahlia McGrath punishes a short ball with a pull then Beth Mooney does likewise to a Brunt slower ball which comes down as a full toss.

Alyssa Healy has just done a flash interview and described the pitch as a "bit of a grind" but the Aussies are starting to open their shoulders now. "If we can push 240 we can maybe defend that," Healy adds.

That helps. Knight has brought back her two opening bowlers after the drinks break and Mooney has thought she can't just let these bowlers bowl their line and lengths.

  13. 6 runs

    Aus 104-8published at 31.3 overs

The left-handed Beth Mooney with a big swing of the bat, to a straight one from Anya Shrubsole and heaves it over the boundary for fix over deep mid-wicket.

A few balls later and Tahlia McGrath slogs it down the ground for four.

    Intent from the Aussie batters.

  14. Aus 96-4published at 30.3 overs

Katherine Brunt is back into the England attack, replacing Sophie Ecclestone, as Heather Knight seeks to dent this partnership.

Brunt is straight on the money with her first four balls to a tight field. Beth Mooney nudges a single off the penultimate ball before another dot.

    Tight stuff.

You can't imagine England messing up a small run-chase with Heather Knight at the crease.

Six an over gets Australia to 218 and that is the bare minimum they'd be happy with.

  20. Aus 95-4published at 29.2 overs

Tahlia McGrath sets off for a quick single with a nudge to mid-on off Nat Sciver. Sophie Ecclestone fields the ball cleanly and throws down the stumps, but the Aussie batter is well home.
