  1. Pak 33-2published at 13 overs

    Oh, wow.

Another attempt at a lofted drive from Omaima, another ball loops high in the air between Sophia Dunkley and Sophie Ecclestone - and neither of them go for it.

The ball literally just plops on the ground between them both. Nat Sciver is fuming, Lisa Keightley makes a note in her book.

    That was pretty village.

Pakistan do not need another run out...

  3. Pak 31-2published at 12 overs

Oooh, risky! Omaima goes for a lofted drive off Anya Shrubsole, the ball loops in the air but safely over the head of Danni Wyatt at cover.

I like the intent from the Pakistan batter, and England won't mind seeing it either.

Oh and then a missed run out chance! The batters get mixed up, Omaima is halfway down the pitch but Sophia Dunkley throws to the wrong end. An eventful over.

I think it has been a good toss to win, and I would have had no doubt about bowling first too.

  5. Pak 29-2published at 11 overs

Nat Sciver is into the attack, who could be a handful on a slow wicket like this with her nagging consistency.

Just a single from her first.

I'd have liked England to bat first and get a massive total but they're backing themselves to bowl Pakistan out cheaply and knock them off quickly to boost their net run-rate.

  7. Pak 28-2published at 10 overs

England finish the powerplay strongly with just a single from Shrubsole's over.

They'll be wanting a couple more quick wickets, and back themselves to bowl Pakistan out.

I've always felt TV broadcasters should have a 'Brunt cam', like they have a 'Kohli cam'.

  9. Pak 27-2published at 9 overs

A glorious cover drive from Sidra Amin glides to the boundary as Katherine Brunt offers her some width.

    Brunt face-palms in frustration.

  10. Pak 23-2published at 8 overs

Shrubsole beats Omaima's outside edge with an absolute beauty that she can't believe hasn't delivered her a wicket.

  11. Pak 22-2published at 7 overs

    Omaima 7, Amin 5

Katherine Brunt draws the outside edge again but this time it evades Nat Sciver at slip to race away for three more.

Anya Shrubsole is getting some great shape on the ball today.

  14. Pak 19-2published at 6 overs

Too full from Shrubsole, despite the swing she's finding, and Omaima Sohail drives beautifully for three.

She repeats the shot two balls later, this one timed to perfection to reach the boundary.

  15. Pak 11-2published at 5 overs

    A maiden from Brunt.

Pakistan under real pressure now as England look in complete control.

Here is that first baller from Katherine Brunt. The celebrations say it all!

It was a really good throw from Amy Jones.

  18. Pak 11-2published at 4 overs

That first wicket was some Katherine Brunt brilliance. The second was just poor cricket from Pakistan.

Bismah called for the second when the ball was in Amy Jones' hand.

That was always going to be tight - the ball didn't get out of the 22-yard fielding circle.
