  1. dropped catch

Wyatt dropped (for the fourth and fifth time!) on 116 and 117published at 04:51 British Summer Time 31 March 2022

Would you believe it!? South Africa have dropped Wyatt twice more! The first of these two off Khaka really should have been taken but Ismail, of all people, shells a straightforward chance at deep mid-wicket!

The next would have been one of the catches of the tournament, drilled to cover and Mignon du Preez is at full stretch diving to her right but can't cling on.

  2. Eng 216-4published at 40 overs

Width from Kapp and Wyatt throws the kitchen sink at it, sending a thick outside edge down to third for two. The England opener drives through extra cover drive for another two then pulls to deep backward square for a couple more. Nine from the over.

One of Kapp's more expensive overs. The seamer has been good again today, though, but with 10 overs to go, she only has two more left to bowl.

Jack Rule: Danni Wyatt just goes to show when you need a job doing for a team, send for a Stokie to do it for you! Come on, Duck.

It's been a bowling performance of two halves. There hasn't been much consistency.

It's a shame that Sune Luus seems to have lost all confidence in her bowling.

  5. Eng 209-4published at 39 overs

    Dunkley 35, Wyatt 109

Five singles from Tryon's over to end an expensive 10 overs from the left-arm spinner, she ends with 0-70.

England have 11 overs to try and get themselves up to a winning total.

The same slower ball that brought Marizanne Kapp so much success against England in the group stage has just been crashed for four.

  7. 200 runs

    Eng 204-4published at 38 overs

Having played and missed at three balls on the trot from Kapp, Wyatt connects and gets four over mid-off to take England past 200.

They are really starting to motor now and they will be looking at closer to 300 than 250 here.

  9. Eng 198-4published at 37 overs

    Dunkley 32, Wyatt 101

More useful runs at the end of an over for England. Tryon drifts down leg, it looks as though Dunkley gets something on it but the umpire signals wide - and it's five of them as Kapp rather escorts it to the boundary.

Meanwhile, England need Wyatt to regroup and go again after the high of reaching that century.

What a time to play a knock like this, and to find some form at the back end of the tournament.

She's had some luck but what counts is that she's converted it into a hundred.

This might be her finest hour in an England shirt. A brilliant innings.

Danni Wyatt was hardly in the conversation at the start of this World Cup, when she was starting at number seven. She's really grafted for this.

A first World Cup century for Danni Wyatt - and what a time to do it! Yes, she has had some luck but she has made the most of it. She gets to her hundred from 98 balls.

Banged in by Klaas but the line is all wrong and the ball sits up perfectly for Wyatt to pull it away behind square to move to 99!

She has two balls in the over to try to get to three figures but she'll have to wait a little longer as she doesn't make the desired contact with a big swing.

Excellent batting from Danni Wyatt. Not just because she's counter-attacking the pressure built by Klaas, but she's being unselfish too.

  18. Eng 180-4published at 35 overs

    Dunkley 26, Wyatt 95

Wyatt finds the boundary again to end the over with the ball crossing the rope at almost the exact same spot as the last one, another fine shot from the England opener.

  19. Eng 176-4published at 34.3 overs

Full toss from Khaka and Wyatt gleefully bludgeons it through the leg-side, splitting the two fielders on the rope. That boundary brings up the 50 partnership and takes her into the 90s.
