  1. Eng 171-4published at 34 overs

    Dunkley 25, Wyatt 87

Good again from Klaas with just four singles from the over. She gets away with a half-volley last ball though, Wyatt nails it but it is straight to Sune Luus at extra cover. It only just bounced before it reached the South Africa skipper.

Just as Chloe Tryon was starting to build pressure, she bowls a loose ball down the leg side for Sophia Dunkley to put away.

  3. Eng 167-4published at 33 overs

What had been a tidy over from Tryon turns into a good one for England as a sweetly-timed sweep shot from Dunkley races away for four, behind square and the fielder has no chance.

  4. Eng 160-4published at 32 overs

Well, Masabata Klaas has done her bit to keep it tight for South Africa. The seamer bowls the first maiden of the innings. Dunkley, despite her best efforts, unable to get the ball away as Klaas plugs away on a nagging line and length.

Masabata Klaas' bowling: 3% full, 68% good length and 30% short. 6 overs, 1 maidens, went for 36 runs, took 0 wickets with an economy of 6.00.

These next 10 overs are crucial. We know who's going to bowl the last 10 - but can they keep it tight enough up until that point?

I think this match is going to be tight, and fascinating to watch all the way through.

  7. Eng 160-4published at 31 overs

    Dunkley 18, Wyatt 83

Two from the last ball of the over and Wyatt - having now been dropped three times - is up to 83, her highest score of the World Cup. Can she keep going and really make South Africa pay for those missed chances?

That is a terrible moment for Lara Goodall. It was straight to her, hardly had to move and it went through her fingers.

  9. dropped catch

Wyatt dropped (yet again) on 77published at 30.4 overs

    Eng 158-4

Another let off from Danni Wyatt! She hammers a short ball from Tryon out to deep mid-wicket and it goes straight through the hands of Lara Goodall - one bounce for four!

Sophia Dunkley is brave - she's batting far out of her crease against the pace of Shabnim Ismail.

The partnership between Danni Wyatt and Amy Jones had reached 49 before Marizanne Kapp removed the latter. Another telling contribution from the South Africa all-rounder...

  12. 150 runs

    Eng 150-4published at 30 overs

No shortage of aggression from Ismail, which is absolutely no surprise. After a pair of singles from the first five balls, the fast bowler tries to end the over with a bouncer but overcooks it and is called for a wide. That brings up the 150 for England.

Shabnim Ismail's bowling: 9% full, 27% good length and 64% short. 7 overs, 0 maidens, went for 26 runs, took 1 wickets with an economy of 3.71.

Speaking of Shabnim Ismail, she is back for another burst after drinks...

I've watched Shabnim Ismail bowl for years and I think this is the best I've seen her bowl in this tournament. She's been phenomenal.

  15. drinks break

    Eng 147-4published at 29 overs

The intent from Dunkley has been evident from the very first ball she faced. It has helped England brush past the wicket of Jones and if she can stay out there for a while yet with Wyatt, they will be confident of surpassing that 249 that they're currently on for.

    Time for drinks.

England's current run-rate will get them to 249, which you feel is a minimum on this wicket.

  17. Eng 142-4published at 28 overs

Having made the breakthrough, Kapp is taken out of the attack and replaced by Khaka.

Dunkley's impressive start to her innings continues with another boundary, pulled through mid-wicket. The crack as she connected tells you that was right out of the middle of the bat.

England's run-rate is really good. It's just below five an over but there's 23 overs left and Katherine Brunt, an all-rounder, is in next. You suspect Australia would have been two down in the same position. There's so much pressure on Dunkley and Wyatt to stay there for the next 15 overs.

Danni Wyatt's running between the wickets today hasn't been what it should be.

  20. Eng 134-4published at 27 overs

    Dunkley 6, Wyatt 70

A good, positive start from Dunkley. She gets off the mark with a scoop-sweep past short fine leg for a couple before adding four with a crisp drive through the covers.
