  1. Aus 105-5published at 18.3 overs

    Need 14 off 9 balls

Stoinis pushes into the off side for a single.

  2. Aus 104-5published at 18.2 overs

    Need 15 off 10 balls

Marcus Stonis drills the ball back down the ground and his Delhi Capitals team-mate Anrich Nortje sticks his hand out but can't hold on. Stoinis takes two runs.

  3. Aus 102-5published at 18.1 overs

    Need 17 from 11 balls

Full toss from Anrich Nortje as Wade takes a single. It was there to be hit.

  4. Aus 101-5published at 18 overs

    Need 18 from 12 balls

Stoinis is putting power into his shots but can't find the gaps as a single bring up Australia's 100.

Wade releases his arms at a full and wide delivery from Pretorius, but it's only one more.

Six singles and a wide from the over. Australia need a boundary.

  5. Aus 99-5published at 17.4 overs

    Need 20 from 14 balls

The batters exchange singles. Wade is hopping about his crease and ramps to short third man for one more.

  6. Aus 97-5published at 17.1 overs

    Target 119

Dwayne Pretorius returns to the attack. He bowls wide of off stump and Stoinis moves across his crease and whirls his bat like a helicopter blade to take a single down to long-on.

Pretorius can't quite execute a slower ball which is signalled wide. South Africa can't afford those!

It has just swung back in Australia's favour with those two boundaries.

  8. Aus 94-5published at 17 overs

Wade ramps it over short fine leg for four.

Two boundaries in the over for Australia, who now need 25 from three overs.

  9. Aus 90-5published at 16.4 overs

Close! So close! Matthew Wade drives uppishly and Aiden Markham - who took a sensational catch earlier - jumps forward at mid-off, the ball barely carries... and the result is four for Australia.

  12. Aus 83-5published at 16 overs

    Target 119

'Oohs' and 'ahhs' as Stoinis looks extremely nervy playing Shamsi off the back foot. He then gets off the mark with a streaky single through square leg.

Shamsi's 50th T20 international wicket came in 43 matches, at an economy rate of 6.76.

Today, he finished with figures 1-22 - that important wicket of Maxwell has got his team right back in this game.

  13. Aus 82-5published at 15.3 overs

    Need 37 from 27 balls

That wicket as Tabraiz Shamsi's 50th in T20 internationals. New batter Matthew Wade off the mark with a single. Stoinis yet to face a ball.

Australia are under pressure and that is what pressure does. Maxwell was playing his favourite reverse sweep and was yorked. It could be a nail-biting finish.

  15. wicket

    Maxwell b Shamsi 18 (Aus 81-5)

    Now then!

We said how Glenn Maxwell liked playing the reverse sweep, but it's proven to be his downfall today as a Shamsi bowls a full, straight delivery which clatters into the stumps.

This game is far from over!

Marcus Stoinis the new man in. He only just returned from injury at the back-end of the IPL. Will he be rusty?

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.5 overs

    Smith c Markham b Nortje 35 (Aus 80-4)

Terrific catch by Aiden Markram brings an end to Steve Smith's knock.

Smith pulls Nortje and Markram makes good ground to his right at long-on, dives full stretch and takes the grab with both hands. Superb work!
