What a mad over that was.

Taskin absolutely stacks it in his run up, Pollard just strolls off the pitch and Russell is run out without facing a ball.

That might just sum their tournament up. That is very unfortunate because we want to see Andre Russell light up this game and tournament.

Russell run out Taskin 0 (WI 62-4)

As if things couldn't get any worse, Andre Russell has been run out at the non-striker's end off Taskin Ahmed's foot without even facing a ball.

He trudges off the field with his shoulders slumped, slamming his bat on his pad.

That's so strange. He's literally just strolled off the pitch.

    Anyway, Andre Russell replaces him.

He's had enough. The wicket is too hard to score off.

    Breaking

What's happening here? Kieron Pollard has retired hurt but I have absolutely no idea what he's actually done.

It looked like he clipped his ankles together as he ran in. He could have quite easily done his ankle ligaments there.

He is lucky really. That could have been a serious injury,

  9. WI 61-3published at 12.2 overs

Ooooh! Taskin Ahmed skids like an ice skater in his delivery stride and goes absolutely flying. That could've been really, really painful but thankfully he's fine.

  10. Not outpublished at 12:08 British Summer Time 29 October 2021

Simon Mann is correct, it's hitting outside the line. Pollard survives and Bangladesh lose a review.

It is pad first but I think it'll be outside the line.

Ah I'm mistaken, it's pad first...

  13. Bangladesh reviewpublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 29 October 2021

Ooh, a review for an lbw on Kieron Pollard.

It's given not out on the field. I think he might've hit it.

I am the opposite. I have seen them hit enough boundaries.

I am beginning to feel a bit sorry for these West Indies batters.

  16. WI 61-3published at 12 overs

No boundary in that over, sadly.

There's not much else to say. I feel quite sorry for the West Indies here, they have absolutely no answers to Bangladesh's bowlers.

    He's got a four!

  18. WI 56-3published at 11 overs

    Is that ... a boundary?

Roston Chase pulls the ball firmly and it bounces over the ropes. That's four, right? It's been a while.
