A bit of seam at the other end as Kagiso Rabada bounds in - and fortune is on Pathum Nissanka's side.
He very nearly chops a wide delivery onto his own stumps, but the ball disappears down fine leg for a streaky four.

I have got fitness testing after this. As a professional cricketer this is one you want to do bad one so when it comes to January you have improved.

Sri Lanka have a really good chance batting first on a used wicket.
There's some early chaos to warm things up. Kusal Perera knocks it into the onside for a single and thinks about running for the second off a miss-field. They wisely decide against it as the throw comes in and Nissanka just scrambles home.
Five singles off the first over in total. A steady start.
Kusal Perera and Pathum Nissanka will open the batting for Sri Lanka. Aiden Markram has ball in hand for South Africa.
The players then take the knee - including Quinton de Kock - and we are now ready to go.

South Africa are favourites. Sri Lanka have a well balanced side. They had a lot of batters making thirties in the last game. If one can go on and get 50 in this game it completely changes the game.

Bye: At this point I'm pretty sure Sri Lanka have the best anthem I've ever heard.
The two teams are out on the field for the national anthems - the Sri Lankan anthem is a particularly jolly affair I have to say.
Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka: "We have played two games - it might be an advantage. The wicket might be a bit lower than we expect."
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma: "The team is feeling much better than we were a couple of days ago. We've had some time to get over things and Quinton is in a much better state.
"Those first five overs will be key - that's why we've generally bowled first, to try and get accustomed to conditions. We assume that the wicket will be a bit low. Gauging what a good score will be key."

Everybody wants to see the best players playing.
As expected Quinton de Kock is recalled after he made himself unavailable for the win over the West Indies, with Heinrich Klaasen making way.
South Africa: Temba Bavuma (capt), Quinton de Kock (wk), Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Reeza Hendricks, David Miller, Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi.
Sri Lanka: Kusal Perera (wk), Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka, Avishka Fernando, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka (capt), Wanindu Hasaranga, Chamika Karunaratne, Dushmantha Chameera, Maheesh Theekshana, Lahiru Kumara.
Chasing is generally the way to go at this tournament so far so it is no real surprise that South Africa captain Temba Bavuma has decided to bowl first after winning the toss.
South Africa and Sri Lanka are tucked in behind England and Australia in the Group 1 table with one win from their opening two matches. Neither side can really afford another defeat here.
...and welcome to what has the potential to be a super Saturday at the Men's T20 World Cup.
England v Australia is to come, but first it's another crucial match in Group 1 - South Africa v Sri Lanka.
