    Target 143

Ooof that's a brilliant yorker from Chameera. Free hit or not, there's not a lot you can do with that.

It crashes into De Kock's big toe. I hope the South Africa opener has some protection on the end of his boot. If not, that'll bruise.

  2. SA 3-0published at 0.4 overs

The pacey Dushmantha Chameera has overstepped.

Quinton de Kock is eyeing up a free hit...

piemontemio: It should be South Africa from here, but I'm not so sure it will be as straightforward as that...

  4. SA 2-0published at 0.4 overs

Right-hander Reeza Hendricks is opening alongside De Kock. South Africa chose to chase on this tricky pitch but that will not be straightforward.

Don't discount Sri Lanka's pace attack - they've got some quick bowlers.

Sri Lanka would have been in a mighty hole without Pathum Nissanka's 72 off 58 balls.

Right then, that's me done for now. Time to hand over to Matthew Henry to take you through the second innings.

Let's hope for a similar finish to what we saw yesterday.

"Our bowling unit is not a one-man show. Threre are different guys putting their hands up, and I am just one guy. We're all just trying our best."

Sri Lanka have done well to get to 142. They struggled in the first four, didn't have the strongest of powerplays.

South Africa will be confident. They will need only seven runs an over so don't have to do anything too rash.

  14. SOUTH AFRICA NEED 143 TO WINpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time 30 October 2021

Pathum Nissanka's fine innings dragged Sri Lanka to a reasonably competitive score, though you would surely fancy South Africa here.
