This is good cricket now. Kumara is charging in at the other end and a brilliant diving stop from Hasaranga keeps Van der Dussen down to two.
Van der Dussen is hopping around, not entirely comfortable, against this pace.

Suddenly the game just grips a little bit. The South African supporters look a bit more tense than they did just five minutes ago.
Target 143
Skipper Temba Bavuma is in.
Five runs from that over and two wickets.
Who you backing now?

It is one of those where the batter knows as soon as the ball goes up. De Kock knew there that he had it.
De Kock c&b Chameera 12 (SA 26-2)
Two in three balls! Quinton de Kock is gone. The whole complexion of this game has change in two minutes.
De Kock tries a pull shot but gets a top-edge. Chameera clears all other fielders out of the way and takes the catch himself.

Amid the short balls, it's difficult for the mind to keep telling you to go forward.
Hendricks lbw Chameera 11 (SA 25-1)
Three reds. The Sri Lanka fans are dancing in the stands.
It was a good ball from the speedy Chameera - the ball angling back in - and would have hit the top of middle.

That didn't look high to me.
Surely it's not going over on this pitch?

I reckon that's out.
Given!
Reeza Hendricks is struck on the pad by Chameera.
Was it too high? I don't think so.
There's still time, Jonathan...

As an Aussie Arsenal fan married to a vocal Leicester woman, I've not been looking forward to today's football/cricket double-header. So good so far.

Target 143
So good from QDK. As I've said Kumara is quick but De Kock just casually whips the ball to the fence. Brilliant batting.
Kumara does indeed clock 91mph with this latest delivery. Hendricks flicks it off his pads for a single.
Lively stuff.
The first bowling change sees the burly Lahiru Kumara, who can top 90mph, introduced.
De Kock 7, Hendricks 5
Some loose bowling and a fumble. That wasn't the best of starts from Maheesh Theekshana.
South Africa have made a steady start.
Trademark Quinton de Kock. With a lovely swing of the bat he lifts a poor ball from the off-spinner over the leg side for four.
Off-spinner Maheesh Theekshana will share the new ball.
