  1. Nam 84-3published at 13 overs

    Target 190

Namibia's most experienced player David Wiese is the next man in. He looks very twitchy for his first couple of balls, getting a couple of inside edges onto his pads.

This is a big ask now for Namibia with just seven overs left.

    Erasmus c Shadab b Imad 15 (Nam 83-3)

    Big breakthrough!

Erasmus played a shot a ball for his 15 off 9 balls, really looking to take the attack to Pakistan. Imad bowls a slower ball, draws the big shot but it's driven straight to cover.

Shaheen must be very relieved that his drop didn't cost too much.

  3. Nam 82-2published at 12.1 overs

    Target 190

Namibia are not giving up on this chase. Craig Williams carves Imad Wasim for another boundary!

That is a brilliant shot. It is a little bit unconventional but he's absolutely smacked it.

  5. Nam 78-2published at 12 overs

    Target 190

And in quite typical fashion after a dropped catch, the next ball is thumped straight down the ground for four!

    An eventful over, indeed.

I'm not sure the crowd noticed that he dropped that.

  7. dropped catch

Erasmus dropped on 14published at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2021

    It brings a dropped catch!

It's gone so, so high in the air for Shaheen Shah Afridi and it goes straight through the hands. It should've been taken, for sure, but those are never easy catches when they hang in the air for a long time.

    Ah, not quite. Erasmus survives.

What will the remaining four balls of the over bring with regard to Ravi's prediction?

I feel like something is going to happen in this over. Either a lot of runs or wicket. I don't think it will be a standard over of seven or eight runs.

Erasmus jumps around the crease in a rather strange fashion trying to cut the ball. Has he got his foot down in time?

This is Namibia's highest score after 10 overs in this tournament. That shows how well they've done, against this attack.

Williams is struggling with the pace of Haris Rauf.

  13. Nam 71-2published at 11 overs

    Target 190

Craig Williams doesn't look comfortable against the extra pace of Haris Rauf, just managing a single from the final ball.

He was hit by a nasty short ball earlier, so perhaps not too surprising to see him backing away a little.

Namibia have had a brilliant 10 overs here. To be in the position they are... they're still in this game.

Namibia are putting their foot on the accelerator. It is still a tough ask.

  17. drinks break

    Nam 70-2published at 10 overs

    Target 190

Four more! This time slog swept to the square-leg boundary, timed so perfectly that the fielder out there is nowhere near it.

Time for a drink and probably for a few more towels to be brought out for Pakistan's bowlers to dry the ball.

  18. 6 runs

    Nam 66-2published at 9.5 overs

Not bad for someone batting with a broken finger!

Erasmus smashes a straight six off Shadab Khan, who wipes his hands on the floor to suggest he's struggling to grip the ball with the dew.

  19. Nam 58-2published at 9.2 overs

The camera pans to Stephan Baard in the dug-out, standing by himself with his head in his hands. He looks like he might burst into tears as Namibia's coach pats him on the back.

I might cry for him, to be honest. Cricket can be cruel.
