When you face those in the nets, you often go "get off me!" because it is hostile. If that has hit him then that will hurt. It is a stinger on the end of the thumb.

  3. ouch!

    Nam 22-1published at 3.5 overs

    Target 190

Oh this doesn't look fun. Craig Williams gets in a right tangle trying to avoid a nasty short ball from Hasan Ali - he gets four runs off the glove and looks in a considerable amount of pain.

  4. Nam 14-1published at 3 overs

    Target 190

Stephan Baard uses the pace of Shaheen to pick up four through cover.

Shaheen responds with an absolute beauty that swings past the outside edge at a steady 91mph.

He really is a delight to watch.

    That's a beauty.

  6. Nam 8-1published at 2 overs

    Target 190

Craig Williams is the new batter.

He is almost cut in half by a vicious delivery from Hasan Ali, who goes up for a very optimistic appeal. Both the umpire and his captain pretty much ignore him.

Van Lingen has completely missed that and the off stump has gone cartwheeling out of the ground. Look at the celebration!

    van Lingen b Hasan 4 (Nam 8-1)

    And he strikes straight away!

If Shaheen doesn't get you, Hasan Ali will. Pakistan's bowling is a delight to watch. Full, straight and the batter has played all around it.

Hasan pumps his arms in the air in a ferocious celebration. I think he liked that one.

Here's Hasan Ali with the second over.

After conceding that boundary, Shaheen calls a member of the ground staff to put some sawdust on the crease.

Blaming the pitch for conceding a four - we've all been there.

Namibia will be pretty satisfied with this. The key is to get through the first over without losing one or two wickets.

Shaheen always has a confidence about him, even with the way he walks back to his mark.

  13. Nam 7-0published at 1 over

    Target 190

Shaheen just drifts onto van Lingen's pads and he gratefully accepts, clipping it away for four.

Despite that, Pakistan look like a very happy side. They're laughing and joking with one another between deliveries. Looking very much like a team that has absolutely bossed the World Cup so far.

  14. Nam 1-0published at 0.3 overs

    Target 190

A sloppy misfield at mid-wicket gifts Namibia their first run.

  16. Nam 0-0published at 0.1 overs

    Target 190

Stephan Baard and Michael van Lingen open up for Namibia.

Shaheen Shah Afridi starts with a casual 87mph delivery that the batter prods at and misses.

Babar Azam played rather nicely, too. Challenging Jos Buttler for player of the tournament so far?

What an opening pair they would make.

What an amazing run of form Mohammad Rizwan is in. He was scratchy to start but in the end helped Pakistan go from 59-0 after 10 overs to finishing on 189.

Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez: "It's more about contributing in the right way. I try and play with intent. We had momentum with us and were able to express ourselves. As a team, we wanted to score 175 so to get more runs on the board than that is brilliant."
