    Ooft! Umpire's call!

    I... thought that was missing.

    Going down, surely?

  3. Sri Lanka reviewpublished at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2021

    Now then.

Shimron Hetmyer is struck on the pad by Theekshana and it's sent upstairs very quickly by Sri Lanka.

  4. WI 56-3published at 7.1 overs

Theekshana, into his third over, is a tad unlucky as an inside edge from Hetmyer just about dribbles past the stumps.

  5. Postpublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2021

There's a lot resting on Nicholas Pooran's shoulders, you'd think.

It feels like Sri Lanka are starting to get some real depth in their bowling attack.

  7. WI 56-3published at 7 overs

    Target 190

A new bat has arrived, and Shimron Hetmyer puts it to good use with a nice pull through mid-wicket.

  8. WI 54-3published at 6.4 overs

There's a massive pause in this game and I don't know why.

Oh, Shimron Hetmyer wants a new bat, I think, but no-one seems to be obliging.

If these two can take it to the 13th or 14th over - they are good at hitting ones and twos as well as four and sixes - they can then set a platform for the likes of Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard.

  10. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2021

Dasun Shanaka has brought himself on to bowl.

  11. Postpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2021

West Indies didn't get their chase off to the best of starts.

  12. WI 52-3published at 6 overs

    Target 190

Nicholas Pooran flings his bat at a wide delivery and gets four through a vacant deep third.

West Indies need a lot. 138 runs from 84 balls, to be exact.

It was a reaction catch at mid-wicket, superb!

  14. WI 47-3published at 5.4 overs

That's the sort of catch that is so good it's silly.

Shimron Hetmyer is the new batter.

Roston Chase couldn't have hit it any better - I was just thinking, boundary, four. That is up there with the best fielding I have seen in this tournament.

    Chase c Rajapaksa b C Karunaratne 9 (WI 47-3)

    My word, what a catch!

I can't emphasise enough how much Roston Chase has nailed this shot. And he has fallen to a wonderful diving catch from Rajapaksa at mid-wicket! It was going quickly and Rajapaksa just flung himself to his left, sticking out both hands and clinging on as he cartwheeled in the air. Brilliant.

West Indies are clinging on by their fingernails.

  18. WI 47-2published at 5.2 overs

Chamika Karunaratne is into the attack, and watches as a thick inside edge from Roston Chase fizzes past the stumps and trickles for four.

We can definitely put Chameera in the fast bowler category, rather than fast-medium, since he bowls 88mph.

  20. WI 43-2published at 5 overs

    Target 190

Nice from Roston Chase, playing with soft hands to dab the second delivery away for four.

Nicholas Pooran ends the over with a strike over cover that bounces just in front of the ropes.
