    SL 137-2

Another landmark for Sri Lanka. Charith Asalanka brings up his second half-century in T20 internationals with a push into the covers.

He celebrates by pointing at the name on the back of his shirt, in the direction of the dugout.

A good over for West Indies, though - just five runs and the wicket.

Nissanka went for the big heave and didn't get the middle of the bat on it. It was a comfortable catch for Hetmyer in the deep.

    Nissanka c Hetmyer b Bravo 51 (SL 133-2)

    Breakthrough!

Dwayne Bravo goes round the wicket and bowls a slower ball into the pitch. Pathum Nissanka looks to pull away but doesn't get enough connection to clear Shimron Hetmyer, who is about 10 yards in from the mid-wicket boundary.

    West Indies needed that.

  7. SL 132-1published at 15 overs

    Nissanka 51, Asalanka 47

Charith Asalanka keeps the strike with a single out to deep square leg.

Five overs to go. Sri Lanka will be eying 180 as an absolute minimum.

  8. SL 131-1published at 14.4 overs

Charith Asalanka looks a player too. He latches onto a bit of length from Ravi Rampaul and crunches a pull away to the mid-wicket fence.

West Indies coach Phil Simmons looks worried. They must win to stay in semi-final contention remember.

It's a very well deserved 50. He has been top notch.

  10. 50 runs

50 for Nissankapublished at 14.2 overs

    Well played, Pathum Nissanka.

He brings up his third T20 international half-century with a drive out to point for a couple.

He's hit five fours in that half-century.

Asalanka loved that shot so much he gave him a hug.

  13. SL 124-1published at 14.1 overs

    What a shot.

Pathum Nissanka takes one, two, three steps outside off stump and plays an outrageous flick through square leg and to the boundary.

    He looks a player.

  15. SL 120-1published at 14 overs

    Nissanka 45, Asalanka 42

If you want a job doing sometimes you just have to try and do it yourself. That is the approach that Kieron Pollard has decided to take.

It is a tidy enough over too with seven runs a wide coming off it.

West Indies are in trouble. It's a very good pitch, which is in their favour with the batting line-up they have, but if they don't take wickets now then it is just a launchpad for Sri Lanka.

That's not great bowling from Andre Russell and it has been put away by Charith Asalanka.

  18. SL 112-1published at 13 overs

Another big over with 11 coming from it. It is a fair way away at the moment but 200 isn't out of Sri Lanka's reach.

Pathum Nissanka finds the third boundary with an edge before Charith Asalanka hits almost the same spot with a deft flick.

That has been impressive from Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka are threatening a good score.

  20. SL 101-1published at 12 overs

Sri Lanka are going really, really well.

Dwayne Bravo is probably slightly too full with his yorker and Charith Asalanka jams down on it and it goes under the body of Ravi Rampaul at short third and away to the fence.

Ten from the over for Sri Lanka. Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka have put on 59 for the second wicket now.
