Jimmy Neesham, who is named player of the match: "We did what we had to do. You come into these games and everyone talks about the repercussions of the results for the tournament. For us it's about concentrating on what we do well. We were batting first so wanted to set an above par total and give ourselves something to bowl to. The way we went about that on a challenging surface was really pleasing.

"It was a tough surface to hit boundaries on so we were focused on running between the wickets, getting twos. Glenn Phillips is a lot quicker than most so you have to keep up with him. We knew if we kept making contact, with that short boundary we could get a couple of boundaries every few overs set that total, anything above 150 we thought would be pretty good."

New Zealand have been clinical and done everything they have needed to do. Namibia have had to force the game and they couldn't do so.

New Zealand aren't celebrating. They know they have the game in the bag, but they also want to make sure they limit Namibia to as few runs as possible for their net run-rate equation.
