He got hold of that! It was a terrific shot, right out the middle of the bat.

    WI 151-7published at 19.5 overs

    That's more like it!

An absolutely humongous six from Andre Russell!!

  4. WI 145-7published at 19.4 overs

Jason Holder returns the favour. Not many fireworks in this last over so far.

  5. WI 144-7published at 19.3 overs

Andre Russell runs a single to bring new batter Jason Holder on strike.

Kieron Pollard will definitely play in the next World Cup next year and he'll probably go on till the 2023 50-over World Cup. I think he's got a lot left in the tank.

I don't think this tournament will damage his legacy too much. We need to rejig the approach but I don't think the personnel will change that much.

That is a pretty straightforward catch for Glenn Maxwell.

    Annnnd gone.

Pollard hammers a full delivery straight to long-on where Glenn Maxwell takes a routine catch.

That is probably only the third time in 10 years I've seen him try and play the ramp.

He got in a real tangle there.

  11. WI 143-6published at 19.1 overs

Smiles all round. Kieron Pollard goes for a ramp shot off Mitchell Starc but only succeeds in falling over as the ball flies through to Wade.

  12. WI 143-6published at 19 overs

Kieron Pollard is 44 from 29, he has dragged West Indies up to a defendable total. Where can they get to in the final over?

  13. WI 141-6published at 18.2 overs

    It's unconventional, but effective.

Pat Cummins sends a yorker arrowing towards Andre Russell's boots, he jams the bat down and gets a thin edge that flies past short fine leg for four.

That is smart batting from Kieron Pollard. He is known for his six hitting but he has manipulated the field in this over and has shown a little bit of batsmanship.

  15. WI 136-6published at 18 overs

Josh Hazlewood has a rueful look on his face as Kieron Pollard nudges a slower delivery round the corner for four.

West Indies have really picked things up, scoring 27 off the last 13 balls.

That is not the innings that Dwayne Bravo wanted to sign off with but it doesn't diminish anything that has become before.

Either David Warner or Steve Smith could have taken that catch.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.3 overs

    Bravo c Warner b Hazlewood 10 (WI 126-6)

    Dwayne Bravo goes!

He goes for a huge straight drive but it doesn't not have enough on it as David Warner and Steve Smith converge, with Warner safely taking a smart catch.

A number of Australia players shake Bravo's hand. He then hugs his team-mates and waves to the crowd as walks off the field.

Chris Gayle is known as a white-ball player but he has been a very good player in all three formats. People forget how good he was in Test cricket.
