West Indies captain Kieron Pollard: "What all of us have done in the last decade is amazing - it is a shame we couldn't do that one last thing. Today will be emotional for some but it is important to play the game and try and salvage something.
"Everything is in the back of our mind about qualifying for the next tournament and run-rates etc so it it is all there."
Australia captain Aaron Finch: "It looks like a really good wicket and I don't expect it to change much. I don't think it matters which way round you do it - if you want to the win the tournament you have to do it both days.
"We won't be thinking about run rate at all - we just want the two points."
