  1. wicket

WICKET Windsor c and b Smith 32published at 18.5 overs

    Vipers 110-8 v Diamonds

Emily Windsor tries to square cut, doesn't make contact but it's five wides.

She comes down the track to the fifth ball but hits it straight back at Linsey Smith, who makes no mistake with a stinging return catch.

Like the end of the Diamonds innings earlier - the game plan's simple, it's the execution that's difficult. Jenny Gunn made a real difference with the bat and it looks like she's also gone and done it with the ball.

  3. Vipers 101-7 - target 136published at 18 overs

    Windsor 32, Rudd 1

Diamonds resist the temptation to bring up the field.

Carla Rudd sweeps and takes a single - no hat-trick for Jenny Gunn - and Vipers reach 100.

Emily Windsor takes one from the final ball - but it's 36 from 12 needed now for the Vipers.

Oh dear - well that experiment didn't work for the Vipers. Lauren Bell departs first ball and Jenny Gunn is on a hat-trick.

  5. wicket

WICKET Bell b Gunn 0published at 17.4 overs

    Vipers 99-7 v Diamonds

Lauren Bell gives herself room, misses and Jenny Gunn is on a hat-trick.

Alice Monaghan tried to give herself some room to hit that away. She had to try something as every ball without a boundary was becoming a big win for Diamonds.

  7. wicket

WICKET Monaghan lbw Gunn 5published at 17.3 overs

    Vipers 99-6 v Diamonds

Vipers are running for everything now, as indeed they have to.

Two successive leg-side wides by Jenny Gunn are a welcome bonus but she is straight enough as Alice Monaghan moves right across her stumps to try and swing the ball away and she goes leg-before.

  8. Vipers 94-5 - target 136published at 17 overs

    Windsor 28, Monaghan 5

Emily Windsor is the key now for Vipers and she hammers Katie Levick through extra cover for four.

She's down the wicket again to the next one but is kept to a single by the mid-off fielder.

Windsor miscues into a gap for two and can only manage a single from the last as she drags the ball from outside off stump down to long-on.

Is 42 from 18 beyond them? Based on what we've seen so far, you'd have to say 'yes' - but don't write Vipers off yet.

Ever since the first five overs of this innings, it's crept in the Diamonds favour. The required rate has just kept on climbing and it's a big ask from here.

  10. Vipers 85-5 - target 136published at 16 overs

    Windsor 20, Monaghan 4

Alex MacDonald appeals for lbw against Alice Monaghan - nothing doing.

Monaghan slogs down the ground, but doesn't time it well and can only take two runs.

Monaghan ends the over by attempting a ramp - again doesn't make the cleanest of contacts but two more ensue.

Vipers need 51 off 24 balls.

It'll be an exciting final five overs. More than 11-an-over needed but you never know what pressure might do in matches like these.

  12. Vipers 80-5 - target 136published at 15 overs

    Windsor 18, Monaghan 0

Finally, a boundary as Emily Windsor uses her feet well and cracks the ball over cover. She sensibly keeps the strike with a single off the final ball of the over - 56 needed from 30 balls.

That's a great catch, right on the rope. Hollie Armitage had the presence of mind just to know exactly where her feet were when she took it and it's another huge moment for the Diamonds.

  14. wicket

WICKET Norris c Armitage b Levick 8published at 14.1 overs

    Vipers 75-5 v Diamonds

Tara Norris has got hold of that one - but not well enough, and Hollie Armitage takes the catch just inside the rope.

Alice Monaghan is the new batsman, but you wouldn't fancy Vipers' chances at this stage even if head coach Charlotte Edwards was to put the pads on herself.

  15. Vipers 75-4 - target 136published at 14 overs

    Windsor 14, Norris 8

Tara Norris strokes stylishly through the overs, but is kept to one by the boundary sweeper.

The tone is set for another disappointing boundary-less over for the Vipers, who need 61 from the final six overs.

The Vipers batters will be taking it over by over at the minute in this chase. It'll be a case of taking the runs on offer at all opportunities, latching on to anything loose.

  17. Vipers 69-4 - target 136published at 13 overs

    Windsor 10, Norris 6

Katie Levick is giving the ball plenty of air, but powerful strokes aren't bringing the boundaries that Vipers need as Diamonds have their field positions spot on.

In the end, it's a streaky edge that earns Tara Norris three runs - but still only seven come from the over.

  18. Vipers 62-4 - target 136published at 12 overs

    Windsor 7, Norris 2

Tara Norris clips the ball down to long-on and picks up two runs to end the over. Vipers need 74 from 48 - that's 9.25 an over. Tall order.

That was a high-risk shot from Georgia Elwiss and there aren't many safer pairs of hands around the game than Lauren Winfield-Hill who was waiting patiently to take that catch.

  20. wicket

    WICKET Elwiss c Winfield-Hill b Smith 9published at 11.2 overs

    Vipers 59-4 v Diamonds

Oh dear. Georgia Elwiss pulls Linsey Smith straight to Lauren Winfield-Hill at mid-wicket. An easy catch and Daimonds certainly have the upper hand now.
