Vipers 2-0 - target 136published at 1 over
Adams 1, McCaughan 1
A tidy start by Linsey Smith, who concedes just a couple of singles from her opening over.
Just what skipper Hollie Armitage would have wanted at the start of the Vipers' run-chase.
South East Stars reach 139-5 to win final by five wickets
Alice Capsey's 40 not out sees them home after slump from 71-0 to 85-4
Northern Diamonds totalled 138-4 in the final after opting to bat first

Earlier, Diamonds beat Southern Vipers by 18 runs in eliminator game
England's Lauren Winfield-Hill hit 65 off 49 balls for Diamonds

The Diamonds form a huddle before spreading out across the playing area.
Here come the Vipers batters, Georgia Adams and Ella McCaughan.
Linsey Smith has the ball in her hand.
Who will face the South East Stars in the final?
Northern Diamonds 135-6 v Southern Vipers - interval
Thanks, Adam.
Wonder how Southern Vipers coach Charlotte Edwards feels about that final over in the Northern Diamonds?
It's certainly going to a tough chase now - but Vipers can take comfort from having exceeded today's target twice during the group stage.
They made 162-4 against Southern Sparks, with Georgia Adams hitting 88 not out, and 147-7 three days later against South East Stars - although both of those games ended in defeat.
So, they'll be ready to go again in the next five minutes for the second innings.
To take you through the Vipers run-chase, it'll be Paul Grunill...
That seems to me like a very defendable total for Diamonds.
Up until about 18 overs, it didn't seem to be the case but Jenny Gunn's hitting at the end there has just tipped the balance in her side's favour.
Gunn 22 not out off 14 balls
Perfect last over for Diamonds with those two sixes in succession from Jenny Gunn.
They score 16 off that last over to post 135-6, easily their largest total of the competition surpassing 120-6 against Sunrisers at Gosforth.
Vipers will need 136 to win and reach the final against South East Stars.
And she repeats it the very next ball over deep square leg this time.
Jenny Gunn goes big down the ground for an impressive six.
Much needed for Diamonds.
Diamonds 120-6
Terrific catching!
Linsey Smith times an off-drive magnificently but Paige Scholfield dives full-stretch to her left at mid-off to cling on to a brilliant two-handed catch.
Tara Norris to bowl the last over of the innings...
Bell 4-0-15-1
Nice football skills from Lauren Bell as she sticks her left instep out to stop the ball from Linsey Smith's drive and cut out a run.
Four runs off her last over as she takes 1-15. Great return from the right-armer.
Lauren Bell comes back on for the penultimate over and her last...
Adams 2-0-21-1
Linsey Smith is the new batter in at seven and she gets off the mark first ball with a quick single to mid-off.
Two overs to go...

Quote MessageThat was a great innings. She'll be disappointed to not be around for the next couple of overs when she could have done some real damage."
Diamonds 114-5
More boundaries from Lauren Winfield-Hill as she follows up the six with a well-timed cover drive for four.
But, three balls later she is bowled trying to repeat that earlier shot.
She makes 65 off 49 balls which has included five fours and a six.

First six of the day and a very impressive one too from Lauren Winfield-Hill straight down the ground off Georgia Adams.
Elwiss 4-0-25-1
Diamonds bring up their 100 and Georgia Elwiss also finishes with 1-25 from her four overs.
Nine off that over for Diamonds, one of their most productive so far.
Diamonds 99-4
Lauren Winfield-Hill's fourth four with a clever lap sweep over her shoulder brings up her 50 from 41 balls.
A very, very key innings indeed in this eliminator.
Quote MessageShe was in total control of that - she knew exactly where she was putting that ball."

Georgia Elwiss to bowl the 17th over for Vipers and her last...
Winfield-Hill 45, Gunn 3
Five runs off Charlotte Taylor's last over as she finishes with 1-25.
Diamonds still looking to clear the ropes here with four overs to go.
