Jack: If it’s a tie can we have a super over?
Kyle Jamieson is going to replace Tim Southee from the Nursery End after just one over.

Abdullah: Sat on the floor entertaining the baby with one eye on every ball. Even the little one is oohing at every delivery with nerves.
Need 54 to win
We're getting lots of shots of the England balcony. Brendon McCullum is, once again, slouched with his feet up on the railings. I think we're going to see that a lot during his tenure.
Paul Collingwood has just handed Marcus Trescothick a hot cup of something.
There's no sign of Collingwood's hands shuddering. Two more twos to Root in Boult's over. It's ticking down.

Feeling upbeat and positive! No... really!

It's not going to be the towering Kyle Jamieson - not yet at least.
Trent Boult has whipped off his jumper.

Jeremy Coney (see 10:59) was spot on - Jamieson is going to be key with that extra height and extra bit of bounce.
Need 58 runs to win
Michael is right. It may be gloomy, the lights may be on, but there is no swing for Tim Southee. The Lord's crowd is even clapping Ben Foakes' defensive blocks.

Nothing through the air so far. The outfield is moist as there was rain throughout the night and when the ball gets wet it generally does not do as much through the air.
It has been gun barrel straight.
Shot.
A nice confidence booster for Ben Foakes, who clips Tim Southee between two fielders on the leg side.
It's into the fifties now.
Initially it's a lovely start for England with Joe Root casually knocking a single. Root is busy, looking for two, and Ben Foakes has to scramble back top make his ground, raising my heart levels just a little.
60 to win...
Need 61 runs to win
It's still gloomy, very gloomy. Tim Southee has the ball in hand with Joe Root ready to face the first ball.
All the best...

I'd favour England - why? Joe Root is there. I think they will get enough runs to get close to this target before the new ball.
They have to keep away from leg stump, Root is a very good manipulator of a cricket ball.

Its been an amazing week, there has been some incredible Test match cricket, and some very poor Test cricket. If Root is there at 11:20, I think England will win.
I put my hand on the pitch and it is cold, and I think there could be something in there.
Here we go then. The Lord's crowd cheers as the last cries of Jerusalem are belted out over the PA system.
Joe Root is skipping and shadow batting his way to the middle.

Tom McCarron (currently in Spain): Not a bad view to potentially listen to an actual England Test victory on TMS! Cap at the ready. Come on England!
The Lord's bell has been rung. It's almost time.

England bowler James Anderson, speaking to the BBC: "The new ball is key, with the lights on and low cloud it could be in favour of the bowler. It is down to the two out in the middle. If we get to the new ball, then we just have top manage our way through it.
"We have to hope Joe Root is out there to the end. We just have to battle our way through it if we can."
How are you feeling then? Relatively relaxed? Got the cushion in hand to hide behind?

Play will start on time so long as it's not raining. It is very, very dark. The light must really be borderline.
