    Target 299

    Four more!

Ben Stokes steps across to off stump and guides Trent Boult deliberately through a massive gap in the slip cordon.

Another 13 from the over. That's 26 in two overs since tea. Fair to say England are going for the win.

The front few rows needed to watch out. He's absolutely creamed it down the ground.

  3. 6 runs

    Eng 160-4published at 35.4 overs

    Target 299

    Oh, what a shot.

It's right in the slot from Trent Boult but Jonny Bairstow just stands still and plants him back over his head for a glorious six.

    Lovely.

I think if Stokes, Bairstow and Foakes go, England will shut up shop.

That's got the crowd going. Look at them - they're on their feet. England have passed halfway.

  6. Eng 152-4published at 35 overs

    Target 299

    Four to finish the over!

Matt Henry offers Ben Stokes a little bit of width and the England skipper guides it through the gully region and away to the boundary.

That is 13 from the first over after tea. A lively start.

This is what Jonny Bairstow really enjoys. That freedom to go out and play. It's a one-day chase.

  8. 50 runs

50 for Bairstowpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 14 June 2022

    Pulled again! Four more!

This one doesn't get up as high and Jonny Bairstow absolutely crunches it to the boundary.

That's a 50 for Bairstow. It is just his second fourth-innings half-century in 85 Tests.

It needs to become a ton for England to win you would think.

That only just went past Southee. Probably a couple of metres to his left.

  10. Eng 143-4published at 34.2 overs

    Target 299

Michael Vaughan was just talking about Jonny Bairstow potentially not being able to control the pull shot and he is almost immediately vindicated in having that view.

He pulls away and it just evades the fielder at like a leg gully position and races away to the boundary.

The partnership is 46 but it looks like they haven't broken sweat yet.

Quite a lot of you think England can still win this...

The players are making their way back out to the middle.

    Here they are.

I don't think the run-rate getting up to five an over would concern England because the outfield is so fast. The only thing that can stop England is wickets.

Ben Stokes has looked in good touch so far.

It feels like he is crucial to England's chances of winning.

    Thanks Kal.

I'm going to start with a simple question: Will England win this game? Yes or no?

Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

This is one the finest Tests I've seen in a very long time.

I said it this morning. I said it this afternoon. And I'll repeat it again now... don't go anywhere.

That's me done for now. Here's the brilliant Callum Matthews.
