Eng need 160 runs
Trent Boult is still the dangerman as Stokes digs out a yorker.
With one delivery remaining, Tom Latham and Boult have a little discussion, thus meaning tea will be taken now. They're obviously eager to get off the field, perhaps a sign that England have started to claw their way back into the game.
One session remaining. The game is still open. Test cricket is alive.

If England go to tea four down it does set up a really intriguing evening session.
Bairstow prods into the off side and England take a quick single. Smart play.
This could be the last over before tea.

Ben Stokes just decided it was time to go.
Stokes sets himself and clobbers it down the ground. Brute power. Four.

It was a speculative review from New Zealand - it just didn't look right.
Eng 134-4
Well outside leg. Probably too high as well. Wasteful.
As we were.

They might as well because it is Ben Stokes and they have three but it doesn't look like a very good review.

It looked like it pitched outside leg stump.
Eng 133-4
Ben Stokes is struck on the pads. Matt Henry asks the question. New Zealand, optimistically, review the not out. No chance, if you ask me.
Bairstow takes a single. Stokes shoulders his arms and lets one go by.
This game could go down to the wire. If you're doing the commute home from work later, time it well.

The negative texts are missing the point. I'd rather we lose going for it than grind out a draw when the match and series were there to be won. It's sport, not stock trading - it's supposed to be entertaining.
Ben
Even if we don't chase this down, you have to respect that England have stuck to their tactics of taking the game on. Yes it might cost us some wins, but how much more entertaining does Test cricket now look!

If they weren't wearing white and it wasn't a red ball, you'd think this was a one-dayer.

Fran Adam: Stokes is so much better like this. He doesn’t have the defensive technique to play differently which is why he averages in the 30s. But when he’s like this, he’s much better.
In the gap and four! Trent Boult returns to the attack. He tempts Bairstow with a rising delivery. The England man swings, and he swings hard, wide of gully for four.
New Zealand ask for the ball to be changed. The umpires test to see if it fits through the ring contraption. It does not. On comes the briefcase of new balls, of similar condition but with the shape still intact.
Will it have any impact on the game? It certainly won't impact England's approach.

This game is not disappointing us - it has been fabulous.

The fielder didn't see that, but he wouldn't have stopped it anyway. It is another thumping boundary.
Mr Benjamin Andrew Stokes picks up the shorter delivery. Makes some space. And hoicks it to the leg side for four. Easy as you like.

I hope Leachy has his glasses cloth ready...
