There is not much you can do when the bowling is as good as it has been. Three wickets have fallen to very good deliveries and good catches as well.
Just in case you've lost track - it is currently Jos Buttler and Liam Livingstone batting for England.
I don't think either expected to be batting in the sixth over of an ODI.

What an amazing catch again! It seems like Rishabh Pant is catching everything that can be caught. He takes another blinder.
Bairstow c Pant b Bumrah 7 (Eng 17-4)
Another one!
What is actually going on? Jonny Bairstow didn't play a shot like this in the whole Test series, but has a little fiddle at a ball on sixth stump and an healthy edge is pouched one-handed by Rishabh Pant, who was initially moving slightly down the leg side.
England's top four are out in the first six overs of the game. A mess.

What an amazing start for India. Three of the top four gone without scoring. But every time Bairstow has come in with three wickets down, he has down some absolute miracles.
Here are the wickets of Jason Roy and Joe Root for you to watch...
I won't say enjoy!
England are very much in consolidation mode at the moment.
Jonny Bairstow drives a single into the covers before Jos Buttler blocks out the rest of Mohammed Shami's over.

It's been a fantastic start for the Indians. Obviously, the toss was crucial with some grass on the pitch and plenty of movement. It has terrific bowling - they're bowling that Test match length which is helping them as well.
Oh! Almost a fourth wicket.
Jonny Bairstow looks to work Jasprit Bumrah through the leg side but gets a big leading edge on the attempted flick.
It spoons into the off side, and there are cries of catch but it is a few yards away from Suryakumar Yadav.

Stokes got a good ball, Root got a good ball but Roy's has to go down to batsman error, to be honest.

SAFCPete: I must admit to never being convinced about Roy. His technique always looked a bit suspect to me.
Four more!
Mohammed Shami strays onto the pads of Jos Buttler and a fine nick runs away for four runs.

It is only the 11th time in nearly 4,500 ODIs that three of the top four have been out for ducks. Only the second time for England.
Oh, everyone calm down.
England skipper Jos Buttler drives his first ball for four.
He's got this. (Maybe).

We've got two Indian bowlers who are very good in these conditions. But they have got a bit of help.
Jonathan Agnew

Just for a moment Stokes stood there and pretended nothing had happened but the finger was raised and he has to go.
That did zip through. Stokes gone first ball, Root second ball. So much for the big welcome home.
Stokes c Pant b Shami (Eng 7-3)
Ben Stokes is gone first ball! England are in MASSIVE trouble!
What is happening? The Oval is normally an absolute road but the ball is flying through and taking off and Mohammed Shami beats Stokes for pace almost, and an inside edge is superbly gathered down the leg side by Rishabh Pant.
England have had three ducks in a row!

Chris Ward: Jason Roy has one ODI hundred in the last three years. He has only 2 scores over 50 since the 2019 World Cup.
Test captain Ben Stokes is in the middle with Jonny Bairstow.
Who knows how Stokes will approach this!
