It has been a really classy knock from Hardik Pandya so far. He's looked extremely comfortable at the crease and played some classic cricket shots. He is timing the ball so well.

Craig Overton is back for his sixth over.

Need 91 runs from 108 balls

Pant heaves another away to the boundary to have the horns blaring and India flags waving once again. That brings the runs required below 100 too.

Hardik Pandya then smacks one of his own, this a back-foot drive, and the fielder can't get there on the boundary, even with a full-length dive.

    Runs are flowing.

50 for Rishabh Pantpublished at 31 overs

    Right on cue.

Pant leaps out of his shell to thwack Stokes back down the ground. It's four and his fifty. Hardik Pandya beats him on the shoulder in celebration.

    James Anderson
England bowler on Test Match Special

Rishabh Pant is awful to bowl at. He is such a talented batter, he has every shot you can think of.

The worst thing is there is no trigger or tell when he is going to reverse-sweep or charge down the pitch. He takes you by surprise.

England need a wicket. It has been almost 15 overs since their last...

50 for Hardik Pandyapublished at 30 overs

Livingstone tosses up offies to left-hander Pant and leggies to the right-handed Hardik Pandya.

Hardik calmly knocks the latest down the ground to reach his fifty from 43 balls. He waves his bat in a similarly relaxed manner.

These two are really settled at crease. Hardik Pandya in particular has batted beautifully. It looks like they could be going on to a match-winning partnership.

Another bowling change. Liam Livingstone is going to bowl his Pic 'n' Mix.

    Target 260

That was Rishabh Pant's fourth boundary. He's actually batted in a reserved manner today - not his usual 'gotta train to catch' self. Pant has 43 from 63 balls. Hardik Pandya, meanwhile, has 48 from 41.

  12. Ind 145-4published at 28.1 overs

Ah. Well this was not in the Ben 'makes things happen' Stokes script. His first ball is crashed to the mid-wicket boundary. Those India fans are vocal. Very.

    Time for a game-changing moment?

    Here's Ben Stokes...

    Need 119 runs to win

I told you earlier there was a zip wire outside our office window. A flash mob of people on bicycles has now arrived. It's not usually this exciting at BBC HQ, I promise.

This game is bubbling up to a good finish. Pant and Hardik surely have India as favourites now.

    Pant 35, Hardik 45

    Special!

Hardik Pandya took four wickets earlier and he's starting to do it with the bat too. He clatters Topley back down the ground with a hint of swagger, almost wiping Rishabh Pant out at the non-striker's end.

A stunning shot from India's all-rounder. There were two wides in that over too.

  17. Eng 130-4published at 26.2 overs

Ah. But Hardik Pandya gets the better of Reece Topley here to strike back for India. He times this perfectly off the back foot. Four runs.

Moeen Ali ensures that darker blue worm turns further to the right by twirling through an over that costs just one run.
