I don't think we'll see any change in intent from England, especially with Willey coming in. He's opened the batting in T20 cricket before.

I don't think we'll see any change in intent from England, especially with Willey coming in. He's opened the batting in T20 cricket before.
Anrich Nortje immediately goes short to David Willey, but it is too short and is signalled a wide.
The extra delivery is then a dot ball.
That over has dragged England's total up a little bit, but they could have really done with Liam Livingstone staying in longer.

A shame. We were starting to see the best of Livingstone.

Swats it to mid-wicket and Nortje celebrates. It was good fun while it lasted from Livingstone.
Livingstone c Miller b Nortje 38 (Eng 144-7)
Booo!
This is becoming a theme in one-day cricket for Liam Livingstone this summer.
He twice got caught on the boundary against India having already hit a six earlier in the over, and while this isn't on the boundary, it is another example of some cricket that isn't very clever.
After the three sixes and four - so 22 already from the over - he hits straight to mid-wicket.
It's not great cricket from Livingstone in truth.
Four!
It is slashed over short third by Liam Livingstone and England are on the charge!
Saqib Mahmood

Oh, he has got all of that!

Livingstone goes again and that's even bigger! It went a mile in the sky - three on the spin!
SIX MORE! THREE IN A ROW!
Anrich Nortje strays on the pads and Liam Livingstone just nonchalantly flicks away.
Potentially the biggest of the lot.
And again!
This feels more top-edgy from Liam Livingstone and feels destined to caught but it's actually gone further and clears Janneman Malan by some distance in the end.

Muscled away and enough on it from Livingstone to clear the fielder on the leg-side boundary.
Six more!
Anrich Nortje returns for South Africa and Liam Livingstone takes on the pull shot immediately.
It JUST goes over the head of Janneman Malan on the square leg boundary and Livingstone picks up six.
He got out twice playing similar shots against India. South Africa have learnt.

Boom! He's clearly seeing it well. Maybe there could be a late charge for England.

Curran goes for a big shot, it's a glorious shot! What a way to end the 20th over.
Livingstone 16, Curran 18
Fielding! Sam Curran rocks back and cuts Tabraiz Shamsi through mid-off but David Miller gets round and parries to his mate and keeps England down to a couple.
It feels like England are below par by some way at the moment, but any runs South African can safe could prove crucial later.
My dayssss! SHOT! Curran skips down the pitch and hits Shamsi for an enormous six back down the ground. That is the shot of the day so far.

Sam Curran has always been pretty valuable with the bat. Even early on in his England career, we saw some scores that showed he is an all-round talent.
Three singles follow the six from the opening ball.
Nine from the over is a decent return. If England can have 10 more of those they'll be over 200. That'd be a decent recovery.

That's the cleanest shot we've seen today. Both the timing and it's low risk back over the bowler's head.
Sammy Curran!
One step down the pitch and he just plants Keshav Maharaj back down the ground for the first six of the innings.
Lovely shot.

It just feels like England are stuttering and there is a theme developing in these last few games.
