Vasconcelos c Hill b Haris Rauf 29 (Northants 67-1 need 499 to beat Yorks)
George Hill’s 151 set up Yorkshire’s great position yesterday and now he takes the catch for the breakthrough.
Ricardo Vasconcelos with a second start but no further in the game and Yorkshire have an opening.
Warwicks 385 v Essex 168 & 308-9
Nearly.
Simon Harmer flashes at a ball from Craig Miles and first slip can't quite reach it despite a full-length dive.
Harmer is now on 69 and Essex are 91 in front.
Davey c J Overton b Clark 12 (Surrey 308 v Somerset 337 & 207)
Surrey's target at the Oval will be 237.
Josh Davey is safely taken at first slip by Jamie Overton and Jordan Clark finishes with 4-52 and seven wickets in the match.
Having lost their first two matches, Somerset need something special from their bowlers now.
Kent 305 & 85-3 v Hampshire 652-6 dec
Unlucky. Keith Barker finds the edge of Ben Compton's bat but the ball bisects the slip cordon and runs away for the first boundary of the day at Canterbury.
Northants 58-0 need 499 to beat Yorks
A long day ahead for both these sides.
Northants need to bat out the entirety to secure a second draw of the season, after a thrilling end against Gloucestershire in round one.
Yorkshire could also face a long day of toil in the field as they try to force victory and back-to-back wins.
Taking 10 wickets late in the game at Wantage Road is never an easy task.
Steketee lbw Miles 5 (Warwicks 385 v Essex 168 & 299-9)
Tom Westley reckons Mark Steketee can bat a bit and there was nothing wrong with his cover drive for four off Oliver Hannon-Dalby.
He's gone at the start of the next over, though, as Craig Miles strikes for the reigning champions as the Australian plays across the line.
That's three in the innings now for Miles, who is playing as a concussion replacement for Liam Norwell.
Surrey 308 v Somerset 337 & 199-9
Jack Brooks is off the mark with a single as Jordan Clark finishes last evening's incomplete over. Josh Davey collects his first run of the morning in the next, bowled by Reece Topley. Somerset are 228 ahead.
Kent 305 & 78-3 v Hampshire 652-6 dec
Kyle Abbott opens up with a maiden to Ben Compton. We may be seeing a few of those today at the Spitfire Ground.
Warwicks 385 v Essex 168 & 294-8
No messing about by Simon Harmer, second ball of the day from Craig Miles, smashed through point for four.
He is 64 not out and Essex now lead by 77.
Right then...it is time to take a walk along action strasse.
Warwickshire 385 v Essex 168 & 290-8 (match resumes 11:00)
Essex believe they could still be in with a chance of victory at Edgbaston if they can squeeze out a few more runs on the final morning.
They only scraped home by one wicket against Somerset last week after being set a target of just 84.
Their lead is currently 73, but Simon Harmer is still there on 60 not out.
"Harmy always finds a way of contributing and hopefully Steks (Mark Steketee) can add to his two first-class fifties and then you never know," skipper Tom Westley told BBC Essex.
Only six of the nine games survived to the final day but there are some exciting finishes in prospect and the BBC commentary teams, 5 Live Sports Extra and local radio, are at the grounds to describe the action.

Surrey 308 v Somerset 337 & 196-9 (match resumes 11:00)
Surrey are hoping England wicketkeeper Ben Foakes will be fit enough to play a part in their final day of their home game against Somerset.
Foakes had to leave the field at the Oval after colliding with first slip Jamie Overton as he dived across to catch Tom Banton.
"Ben Foakes took a blow to the neck and shoulder and has a small cut near his ear," bowling coach Azhar Mahmood told BBC Radio London.
"He's under observation in the dressing room from our physios and he'll have a concussion test. But we hope he'll be feeling ok and can get back into the game."
Northants 204 & 56-0 v Yorkshire 296 & 406-3 dec (match resumes 11:00)
Yorkshire all-rounder George Hill said achieving the right mind-set was key to his 151 not out on day three against Northamptonshire.
It enabled the White Rose county to set a remote target of 499 but they need all 10 wickets on the final day to win the game.
"I'm really pleased, probably relief more than anything," the 21-year-old said.
"I came out and tried to be really positive in my head, almost tricked myself that I felt good and tried to spend as much time at the crease as possible."
Lancashire 556-7 dec v Gloucestershire 252 & 67-3 (match resumes)
Gloucestershire spinner Zafar Gohar admitted his bowling arm was "so sore" after Lancashire piled up the runs on day three at Old Trafford.
The visitors need another 237 to avoid an innings defeat after Josh Bohannon's career-best 231 for Lancashire.
Gohar sent down 65 overs for figures of 4-135 and said: "I have never bowled that many overs in one innings.
"Josh Bohannon batted really well. Even though I tested him a lot, he had a lot of patience which was key and he batted beautifully."
Kent 305 & 78-3 v Hampshire 652-6 dec (match resumes 11:00)
Kent bowling coach Simon Cook said the team were still coming to terms with "unusual" Canterbury pitches this season following a tough third day against Hampshire.
The home side were punished by Liam Dawson and Ben Brown, who made scores of 171 and 157 for the visitors - and then lost three wickets after starting their second innings 347 behind.
"These are pitches that are a bit unusual for here, traditionally they've gone around a little bit and it does take a different way and a different style of bowling," said Cook
"It's something we've got to adapt to very quickly."

Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire and Middlesex earned themselves a day off as they wrapped up convincing wins on Saturday.
Middlesex were the first to do so, with Toby Roland-Jones taking 5-40 as they disposed of Glamorgan by an innings and 82 runs in Cardiff.
Notts put last week's home defeat by Glamorgan behind them as an unbeaten 225 Ben Slater and three wickets each for Luke Fletcher and James Pattinson saw them beat Durham by an innings and 141.
Worcestershire enforced the follow-on at New Road despite Cheteshwar Pujara's 109 and then bowled Sussex out for 188 for an innings and 34 runs victory.
All set fair for another clear day.
No matches rain-affected in England in April - it's almost unheard of, isn't it?
