For the second time in the match, Will Jacks has registered a half-century and he gets there from 68 balls, drilling Peter Siddle to the long-on boundary.

Cameron Steel has joined Jacks at the crease now and Surrey need 32 more.

  2. 6 runs

Postpublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Warwickshire v Lancashire 216-4 (target 329)

    That'll help Lancashire's victory charge!

Henry Brookes drops just short and Luke Wells pummels him for six over mid-wicket.

Wells is up to 121. Lancashire need 113 more off 25 overs.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Amla lbw b Siddle 9 (Somerset v Surrey 154-5) - target 193

Peter Siddle strikes - and it's the scalp of Hashim Amla he takes!

The former South Africa skipper is trapped in front and Surrey still need 39 for victory, with just five wickets standing.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Donald b Patterson 5 (Hants 103-6, target 197 v Yorkshire)

    Yorkshire are all over Hampshire!

It's a jaffa from Steven Patterson that nips back in to Aneurin Donald and clips the bails.

94 runs needed with just the four wickets remaining as Keith Barker comes in at eight.

Hampshire still only need one cameo though.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Brown c Lyth b Bess 4 (Hants 94-5, target 197 v Yorkshire)

    Great catch!

Ben Brown tries to cut spinner Dom Bess but gets a top edge which Adam Lyth clings onto at slip, one-handed above his head.

Hampshire still need more than 100 with only five wickets left.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Geddes c Green b Aldridge 25 (Somerset v Surrey 137-4) - target 193

Is it too late for Somerset?

Kasey Aldridge has his third wicket now as Ben Geddes pulls him into the hands of midwicket.

Still 58 required - and, to everyone's surprise, Hashim Amla is striding to the crease!

He hasn't featured in this match since retiring unwell after the first day's play, but he's out there now to try and steer Surrey over the line.

  7. 100 runs

for Wellspublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Warwickshire v Lancashire 191-4 (target 329)

Lancashire opener Luke Wells brings up a brilliant century that has given his side a chance of winning this game at Edgbaston.

138 more needed off a minimum of 31 overs. GAME ON!

  8. Bad start for Glamorganpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Glamorgan 8-2 (target 141) v Sussex

Ed Byrom and Colin Ingram, who shared that record-breaking stand of 328 in the first innings, are both out for Glamorgan.

Sussex somehow have a sniff of victory!

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Robinson c Hammond b Gohar 22 (Kent 35-1 v Gloucs) - target 88

Miles Hammond produces a blinding one-handed catch to remove Ollie Robinson, who drilled Zafar Gohar into his vicinity at mid-off.

It's unlikely to make much difference to the outcome, with Kent needing only 53 more for victory. Daniel Bell-Drummond is the next man in.

  10. Postpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Hants 88-4 (target 197) v Yorkshire

They're back out for the final session of the match at The Ageas Bowl.

You feel that this partnership between Liam Dawson and Ben Brown, with all their experience, is crucial for Hampshire.

Dawson cuts one away to the rope off Steven Patterson.

109 more needed in 34 overs.

  11. Postpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Kent 24-0 (target 88) v Gloucs

Ollie Robinson missed out in the first innings of this match, so it's not surprising he's keen to get a score on the board and guide Kent to a swift victory.

Robinson has started with a string of boundaries, cutting Ryan Higgins for two of them on the off side to race to 20 not out.

  12. Tea at Tauntonpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Somerset v Surrey 128-3 (target 193)

Surrey seem to be back on track after that wobble when they lost three wickets in the space of 15 deliveries to slip to 70-3.

Will Jacks is 35 not out, with Ben Geddes unbeaten on 20 and the County Championship leaders will need another 65 when the final session gets under way.

  13. 'Glamorgan forced to work hard'published at 15:50 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Glamorgan 0-0 (target 141) v Sussex

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan need 141 to beat Sussex in 43 overs in the final session after being forced to work hard to wrap up the visitors’ innings.

The patient Oli Carter, with 83, and the more aggressive Delray Rawlins, with 57, added 104 for the sixth wicket as they battled into mid-afternoon.

Carter then poked a full toss from leg-spinner Colin Ingram to short fine leg and the next ball saw Rawlins bowled by medium-pacer Andrew Gorvin, who struck again three balls later to dismiss Henry Crocombe lbw.

Archie Lenham tried to dig in with 21 not out but Michael Neser cleaned up the last two wickets with the new ball leaving Glamorgan a realistic target.

  14. Tea at Edgbastonpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Warwickshire v Lancashire 167-4 (target 329)

Luke Wells and Rob Jones have done really well to see out the majority of that session for Lancashire after they were wobbling on 93-4.

They need another 162 from a minimum of 35 overs. Tough ask.

  15. Tea at The Ageas Bowlpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Hants 80-4 (target 197) v Yorkshire

    And that is now tea.

Hampshire will need 117 in the final session, Yorkshire require six wickets. Don't go anywhere.

  16. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Hants 80-4 (target 197) v Yorkshire

Liam Dawson and Ben Brown, who shared a century partnership in the first innings, are the two new batters at the crease for Hampshire.

Both are on nought. How Hampshire would like a repeat performance from the pair.

  17. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Kent 0-0 (target 88) v Gloucs

Kent openers Ben Compton and Ollie Robinson are on their way to the wicket to begin the run-chase they hope will result in Kent's first Championship success of the season.

The batting side will actually have 38, rather than 36 overs available, should they need them, because tea was taken early at the end of the Gloucestershire innings.

One of the joys of County Championship cricket is that nobody, with the exception of the umpires, ever knows exactly when the tea interval is supposed to be!

  18. Glamorgan need 141 for victorypublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Glamorgan 494 v Sussex 376 & 258

Glamorgan have finally ended Sussex's second innings and will need 141 to win after tea from 42 overs (I think).

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Vince c Duke b Bess 22 (Hants 80-4, target 197 v Yorkshire)

    Advantage Yorkshire!

James Vince pushes forward to Dom Bess and feathers a catch behind. Or does he? He's given out but looks disconsolate as he trundles off.

  20. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Somerset v Surrey 117-3 (target 193)

After that flurry of wickets, you sense this is tilting back in favour of Surrey, with Will Jacks and Ben Geddes putting together a partnership that's realised 47 so far.

Jacks has just thumped three fours from a single Roelof van der Merwe over and the target is now down to 76.
