    Croft c Burgess b Brookes 11 (Warwickshire v Lancashire 53-3, target 329)

Lancashire are in a bit of bother now...

Steven Croft plays a loose drive at a wide one from Henry Brookes and edges through to the keeper.

That target of 329 seems a long way off at 53-3.

  2. Division Two latestpublished at 12:26 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

Sussex batter Oli Carter's magnificent game is continuing at Cardiff. After his first-innings 185 the 20-year-old now has an unbeaten 54.

Sussex are 162-5 and lead by 44.

Worcestershire are still looking to avoid the follow-on at Durham. They're 478-8 and need another 15 runs to ensure they don't have to bat again.

    Hants 410 v Yorkshire 428 & 146-8

    Oosh.

Dominic Drakes pulls a short one from Brad Wheal for six.

Crucial runs as the lead moves up to 164.

    Hammond b Linde 41 (Kent 564 v Gloucs 438 & 109-7)

George Linde dropped Miles Hammond in the first over of the day - but he's made amends now!

The Kent spinner lures Hammond down the track with a ball that turns back and thuds into his stumps.

Gloucestershire are still 17 behind as Ryan Higgins comes out to join Glenn Phillips.

    Warwickshire v Lancashire 46-2 (target 329)

That'll give Lancashire a bit of confidence.

Luke Wells smacks two Danny Briggs full tosses through the covers to the rope and then punches paceman Henry Brookes in front of point for another boundary.

Wells is up to 27. 283 more runs needed for victory.

    Somerset 180 & 372-8 v Surrey 382

Superb knock by Lewis Gregory, who reaches his fourth first-class hundred by punching Cameron Steel off the back foot for four.

Gregory gets to three figures from 166 balls and this innings, supported so ably by Kasey Aldridge and now Peter Siddle, might well save the game for Somerset, who lead by 170 now.

  8. Postpublished at 11:59 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Somerset 180 & 355-8 v Surrey 382

So far, so good from a Somerset perspective - Lewis Gregory and Peter Siddle have survived the first hour and extended their advantage beyond 150.

Gregory is now 10 short of a hundred and the pair have added 52 so far for this ninth wicket. Frustration for Surrey, who have been on top of this game ever since day one but victory is by no means guaranteed...

    Durham 642-7 dec v Worcestershire 457-7

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham really have their work cut out to try and get into a position in this game in which they can actually win.

We have had more than 1,000 runs and are still in Worcestershire's first innings. But they have just lost Ed Barnard for 128, caught and bowled by the diving Paul Coughlin.

It means The Pears are still 185 behind and need to get to within 149 to avoid the follow-on. Durham skipper Scott Borthwick said last night his players had to believe in themselves and think a win was still possible. It's unlikely, but sometimes cricket does funny things.

It is a beautiful day in the North East. Warm, sunny and still.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Thompson c Vince b Wheal 10 (Hants 410 v Yorkshire 428 & 124-8)

    EIGHT DOWN!

Jordan Thompson pokes Brad Wheal to James Vince at fourth slip/gully and Vince takes a low catch.

142 the lead for Yorkshire as number 10 Dominic Drakes comes to the middle.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Bohannon lbw b Hannon-Dalby 0 (Warwickshire v Lancs 19-2, target 329)

Two in the over for Oliver Hannon-Dalby!

Josh Bohannon is struck on the front pad by a ball that comes back in and is on his way third ball.

The Bears are well on top now.

  12. Five-wicket haul for Jacob Duffypublished at 11:43 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Dent c Billings b Duffy 32 (Kent 564 v Gloucs 438 & 91-6)

Jacob Duffy missed out on his fifth wicket when Miles Hammond was dropped early on - but the New Zealand paceman has five now with the dismissal of Chris Dent!

He can thank Sam Billings for that, because Jordan Cox fumbled the chance at second slip but the Kent wicketkeeper reacted quickly to scoop up the loose ball and Gloucestershire are six down, still trailing by 35.

    Somerset 180 & 344-8 v Surrey 382

Just nine overs gone today, but already Surrey captain Rory Burns has used all four of his frontline seamers and none of them has been able to find a way through just yet.

Peter Siddle is playing some shots and looking a more than capable foil for Lewis Gregory, who's now moved on to 81. You feel Gregory's continued presence at the crease is key to Somerset's chances of saving this game.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:37 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Bess lbw b Abbott 15 (Hants 410 v Yorkshire 428 & 124-7)

A third wicket for Kyle Abbott and his second this morning.

The Hampshire fast bowler smacks Dom Bess on the pad and he's sent on his way. It looked a touch high but he was far back in his crease.

Yorkshire are seven down with a lead of 142. What will Hampshire be happy chasing? 180?

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Jennings c Davies b Hannon-Dalby 6 (Warwickshire v Lancs 19-1, target 329)

    Beauty from Oliver Hannon-Dalby!

The Bears paceman gets one to bounce and nip away from Keaton Jennings and the left-hander fends it to gully.

  16. Division Two latestpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

Just the two games remain in Division Two after wins for Notts and Derbyshire on Tuesday.

Glamorgan have picked up a couple of early wickets to leave Sussex 117-5. Sussex still trail by one run, so the hosts are on course for victory in Cardiff.

The runfest continues at Chester-le-Street where Worcestershire are 457-6 in their first innings, replying to Durham's 642-7. Ed Barnard is 128 not out.

    Kent 564 v Gloucs 438 & 59-5

Gloucestershire have been ticking along nicely since that close call for Miles Hammond in the first over of the day.

Hammond, who was on nought at the time, has advanced to 16, with Chris Dent on 13 and the visitors need another 67 runs to make Kent bat again.

  18. Postpublished at 11:24 British Summer Time 15 June 2022

    Warwickshire v Lancashire 18-0 (target 329)

It's been a solid start this morning from Lancashire's left-handed openers Keaton Jennings and Luke Wells.

A boundary apiece and some solid defence. 311 more needed.

Yorkshire are six down with a lead of just 121.
