There is both sun and rain in Leeds, but the rain wins as the players make their way off.

That could be it for the day in which Gloucestershire have taken control, if not quite a decisive hold, of the game.

Also done for the day in Worcester.

The hosts’ final two wickets last an hour and pushed Worcestershire to a middling number rather than a low one.

But Pieter Malan has begun to put that number into perspective and Middlesex are well placed coming back for day three.

A great one for Glamorgan where Chris Cooke’s 141 followed Shubman Gill’s 119 and the visitors collected maximum batting points.
