Lancashire 512 v Surrey 42-3
We have a shower in Manchester and the players are coming off.
Lancashire 512 v Surrey 38-3
Champions Surrey are not used to being in this position!
Tom Bailey gets the ball hooping in and it strikes Jamie Smith back in the crease. Big appeal and that's a third wicket in 15 balls for one run.
Susssx v Glam 392-7
James Harris falls shortly before maximum points are reached.
He’s flicked at a full hall from left-arm over the wicket and got a thin edge behind to the substitute wicketkeeper Oli Carter.
Second new ball does the trick for Brad Currie.
Kent 190-2 v Somerset 202
Tawanda Muyeye had batted very nicely with 13 fours to his name, but there is no century for him either.
Kasey Aldridge puts the ball in a good spot and Muyeye can't help but nibble at it and it's a simple one for the wicketkeeper.
Still, his best first-class knock of the summer which has given Kent a very good platform.
Worcs 225 v Middx 73-2
Josh Tongue makes the breakthrough for Worcestershire.
Mark Stoneman was trying to let a ball of tight line go through but didn’t get out of the way in time and gets a feather behind.
Notts 438-4 v Durham
A wonderful maiden hundred from Matt Montgomery ends at 178.
Matty Potts strikes in his fifth over after lunch and makes a longed-for breakthrough for Durham.
A length ball angles in a shade, Montgomery plays forward and edges into his stumps.
Warwickshire 166-2 v Hampshire
Sam Hain gets a four down to the vacant area at third to move to 16 not out with Rob Yates on 90 at the other end.
Warwickshire need runs, and quickly.
One glimmer of hope for the Bears is that the forecast for tomorrow and Thursday in Birmingham is looking better.
Lancashire 512 v Surrey 37-2
Both Surrey openers have gone now.
Captain Rory Burns is beaten by a beauty from Will Williams that nips back a long way from outside off and strikes the timbers.
Lancashire 512 v Surrey 37-1
Tom Bailey usually delivers with the new ball for Lancashire and he strikes in his sixth over.
The big man gets Ryan Patel edging and it is a simple catch for Keaton Jennings at second slip.
Kent 176-1 v Somerset 202
The lunch break at Canterbury saw a host of tributes to departing Kent legend Darren Stevens.
One of them is that the club is going to retire the number three shirt which Stevens has worn every season since he moved to Kent in 2004.
“Darren has left a powerful legacy, and therefore retiring his number will be a constant reminder of the high esteem in which he is held at the club," said Kent's cricket chair, Simon Philip.
Kent 176-1 v Somerset 202
There will be no century for Zak Crawley.
Ben Green manages to squeeze one through his defences and the bails are knocked off.
It looked as if the first hundred of the summer was there for Crawley, with his 13 lovely fours, but it is not to be.
But he has set a terrific platform for Kent in the context of this match.
Worcs 225 v Middx 66-1
A very solid reply from Middlesex who will have ambitions to take control of the game here.
Two very experienced top order bats out there in Mark Stoneman - a tough northern lad for whom this chill will be nothing - and Pieter Malan - who will be wondering what on earth we’re doing playing cricket now.
It’s low 20s and sunny in Cape Town.
Kent 170-0 v Somerset 202
As Zak Crawley sends a Jack Brooks delivery to the fence, the battle here is who will reach a hundred first.
Both he and Tawanda Muyeye are now 79 not out.
Warwickshire 157-2 v Hampshire
The covers are now off at Edgbaston and play is scheduled to resume at 13:50 BST.
Warwickshire may need to up their scoring rate given we have lost over half of the scheduled overs so far in this game.
Yorkshire 183 v Gloucestershire 190 & 5-1
Some very tight bowling from Yorkshire duo Ben Coad and Matthew Fisher.
They would have loved to have had this opening pair fit for most of the season rather than in the treatment room.
Kent 153-0 v Somerset 202
A quiet start after lunch and all the Darren Stevens tributes with just a few singles.
The Somerset bowling has been much tighter so far but let's be honest, the horse has already bolted as far as they are concerned.
Sussex v Glam 351-6
Quickly after lunch Glamorgan secure a fourth batting point and, provided the lower order stay together, a fifth is easily within reach.
I wonder if 400 and declare is on their minds. They have to win remember to stand a realistic chance of promotion.
Yorkshire 183 v Gloucestershire 190 & 1-1
What a start to the afternoon session for Yorkshire!
With the fourth ball of the innings, Ben Coad is good enough to induce a nick from Chris Dent.
This game is motoring along.
Warwickshire 157-2 v Hampshire
The picture is a depressing one for Warwickshire fans.
The covers are on and the rain is pouring down at Edgbaston. We won't be playing anytime soon.
In a must-win game, the Bears are so far behind now in the state of the game compared to Yorkshire and Kent.
