    Lancashire v Yorkshire 136-3 (Target 184)

    Massive over for Yorkshire.

TKC starts it with a six to reach 50. Harry Brook lands one on the rope for another.

They take 14 from Tom Hartley's efforts

Is this swinging the game decisively over the Pennines?

That's 50 from TKC and a big knock for his team.

  4. Postpublished at 15 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 122-3 (Target 184)

    Last one from Liam Livingstone.

Seven from the first five balls, including a narrow escape for TKC, just beyond Richard Gleeson running backwards.

Just a single from the final ball.

  5. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 114-3 (Target 184)

Richard Gleeson begins with a well disguised bouncer. Not sure TKC was expecting that!

Shot! Brooks laces one through the covers. A quality piece of timing. He holds the key to this match.

Another bumper and Brook takes evasive action.

Eight from it, and it's 70 off six the target. This partnership is now worth 58.

    Who's in the box seat?

  6. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 106-3 (Target 184)

Liam Livingstone with his leg breaks. Try saying that after a few pints!

He and wicketkeeper Phil Salt are convinced Harry Brook has tickled one down leg. The umpire is not. It shows the value of Brook's wicket though.

Five off the over. 78 off seven required.

    North Group update

Durham are on for some fightback, they're on 125-3 off 11 overs chasing Northants' 223.

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 101-3 (Target 184)

    Careful Harry!

He almost sends one straight into the Media Centre at Old Trafford off Danny Lamb. There's already one window that needs replacing in here!

The Old Trafford crowd has gone a bit quiet as the 100 comes up. That shows it's tense.

We go upstairs for a possible run out aginst Brook. Not out.

Eight overs left - 83 needed for Yorkshire.

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 89-3 (Target 184)

A wide to start Matt Parkinson's over and the second half of the innings.

Cheeky! Reverse sweep from Harry Brook brings him four. He's up to 20 off 14 balls and looking smooth.

10 runs off a valuable over for the visitors.

  10. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 79-3 (Target 184)

Five runs off the first five balls.

But a filthy full toss from Tom Hartley is given the treatment it deserves by Harry Brook as he sends it over the rope for a maximum.

That was a freebie for an in-form batter. Well for any batter.

  11. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 68-3 (Target 184)

Harry Brook hit an unbeaten 60 off 27 balls as his side beat Worcestershire two nights ago.

That was in the comforts of Clean Slate Headingley though. This is a different challenge.

Six runs off Parkinson's second set of six.

  12. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 62-3 (Target 184)

Yorkshire really can't afford to lose any wickets for another couple of overs here.

Displaying a bit of caution, they pocket four singles from a tidy Liam Livingstone over.

    North Group update

Durham are on 86-1 after six overs with Graham Clark looking good on 37 from 19 as his side chase the 223 posted by Northants.

  14. Postpublished at 7 overs

Only four runs from Parkinson's over and the precious wicket of Joe Root.

The in-form Harry Brook now at the crease.

    Root c Wood b Parkinson 3 (Lancashire v Yorkshire 56-3)

    The BIG one for Lancashire!

Matt Parkinson delivers an absolute bounty third ball for his team. Joe Root is beside himself as he lofts it right into Luke Wood's hands at deep mid-wicket.

Old Trafford enjoyed that!! And that is an understatement.

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 56-2 (Target 184)

England ODI leg-spinner Matt Parkinson now enters the fray. Can his overs have the same effect as Adil Rashid?

  17. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 54-2 (Target 184)

A big agricultural maybe, but Kohler-Cadmore has delivered some lusty blows as he smacks Tom Hartley to the fence.

End of the powerplay. At this stage, Lancashire were 58-1.

  18. Postpublished at 5 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 44-2 (Target 184)

Only a single from his first two balls for Joe Root.

He's played at the MCG and the SCG against the Aussies, but for a Yorkie, batting at Old Trafford under the lights in a T20 game, is real enemy territory.

Great comeback by Luke Wood as he bowls the Yorkshire opener.

    Game on!

Welcome to the lion's den, Mr Joseph Root!
