  1. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 4.2 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 42-1 (Target 184)

Luke Wood swaps ends. He steams in and Tom Kohler-Cadmore clubs one back past him. Disdainful!

But he should have him the very next ball, only for Liam Livingstone to drop it as he slides in from the mid-wicket fence.

    How costly will that be?

  2. Postpublished at 4 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 37-1 (Target 184)

Adam Lyth is one of two survivors from the last Yorkshire team to win a T20 match at Old Trafford. Adil Rashid is the other.

Lyth made 7 that night. He's already got three times that many tonight as he edges one for four off Richard Gleeson.

TV replays are called for a possible run-out against Lyth. I don't know why - miles in!

  3. Postpublished at 3 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 30-1 (Target 184)

The slow left arm of Tom Hartley from the James Anderson End now.

A bit of a breather after the first two overs. Five singles from it.

    North Group update

Some start from Durham as they look to chase down Northants' 223. The visitors are on 33-0 off the first two overs.

Notts' Alex Hales has fallen for just two. The Outlaws are 30-1 after three, in pursuit of Worcestershire's 164.

And Birmingham Bears are coming the the end of their first innings, they're 144-4 against Derbyshire midway through the 17th over.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore gets off the mark with an edge for four.

    Malan c Salt b Wood 5 (Lancashire v Yorkshire 14-1)

Dawid Malan is gone next ball.

He tries to pull Luke Wood again, but gets an edge through to Phil Salt.

Big breakthrough as Lancashire remove the man ranked fourth in the ICC T20 batting rankings.

  7. Postpublished at 1.1 overs

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 14-0 (Target 184)

The left-armers of Luke Wood to get us under way at the other end.

And Dawid Malan stylishly clips the opening ball to the midwicket boundary.

  8. Ready to chasepublished at 1 over

    Lancashire v Yorkshire 10-0 (Target 184)

Liam Livingstone to begin with his off-breaks, and Adam Lyth greets him with a cut to the fence.

And he gets four more down to fine leg.

Dawid Malan opening with him, strokes a single off the final ball.

    Ten from the over.

Absolutely huge from Northamptonshire Steelbacks against Durham who post a monster 223-4. Ben Curran (71) and Chris Lynn (83) were the key performers for the hosts.

Elsewhere in the North Group, Colin Munro's 66 of 43 helped the Worcestershire Rapids to a competitive 164-9 against Notts. Luke Fletcher took 5-32 for the hosts.

In the late fixture, Birmingham Bears have reached 92-4 off 13 overs at Derbyshire.

    Lancashire 183-7 v Yorkshire

Tom Hartley gets it away. Four off his one ball.

Yorkshire will need 184 to win this Roses T20 match. With gun batters like Joe Root, Dawid Malan and Harry Brook, I think they'll be quietly confident.

Right - who's in the box seat here? Thumbs up for Lancashire. Thumbs down for Yorkshire.

Just as Tim David was getting going! Caught by Dawid Malan as he tries to steer it down to third man.

An exciting 35 off 18 balls though. Yorkshire happy to see the back of him, for sure.

    150 up.

Danny Lamb pulls out the ramp shot and nearly does himself an injury. Still gets four though!
