Oh, that is a sensational catch.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 9 overs

    Shumba c De Kock b Nortje 18 (Zim 79-5)

In a bizarre moment we all thought we were done, but the delivery that resulted in those five penalty runs needs to be bowled again.

So for the final delivery - for real this time - Quinton de Kock takes a brilliant catch to dismiss Milton Shumba. He was moving to his left but managed to turn and dive full stretch the other way.

  3. Zim 71-4published at 8.2 overs

What's happened here? Zimbabwe have been given five penalty runs.

The replay showed that Quinton de Kock took off one of his gloves as a throw came in but the ball hit the glove while on the floor.

Well spotted by umpire Michael Gough.

I bet that hurt - it was straight on the boot.

    Not out.

I could have told you that from here.

  6. South Africa reviewpublished at 8.1 overs

An Anrich Nortje delivery thumps into Milton Shumba's boot and away through fine leg for four byes. It looks nowhere near in line with the wickets but South Africa have reviewed any way.

These are very useful runs. With one over left Zimbabwe may be starting to get some belief.

  8. Zim 64-4published at 8 overs

Greta invention from Wesley Madhevere as he leaps off the ground and deliberately top-edges the ball so it flies over wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock's head for four.

A slower ball from Rabada is then cut away from Madhevere for another boundary!

17 very useful runs off the penultimate over for Zimbabwe.

  10. 6 runs

    Zim 53-4published at 7.3 overs

    Great shot from Wesley Madhevere.

He has rocked onto his back foot and powered Kagiso Rabada over the rope for a huge six.

These are always the conditions I quite like fielding in because of moments like that where Temba Bavuma started sliding and couldn't stop himself. It's fun when it's like this.

  12. Zim 46-4published at 7 overs

Facing rockets from Anrich Nortje is tricky at the best of times let alone when you desperately need runs in a shortened game.

Milton Shumba manages to clear the ball over mid-off, but it plugs in the outfield and they can only run two.

If it is raining after the 10-minute interval change I don't think they can come back on...

It has been a chaotic innings to say the least. Here is the first wicket to fall.

They are going to keep going. Here is Anrich Nortje.

  20. dropped catch

Madhevere dropped on 11published at 12:06 British Summer Time 24 October 2022

    Oh dear, Lungi Ngidi.

Wesley Madhevere top-edges the ball high into the sky but Ngidi spills the catch.
