When I say it is barely raining, it is not wet.
If they were out there they would 100% still be out there.
Bad news folks. The covers are now fully on, though the rain doesn't seem to be that heavy.
The groundstaff and one of the umpires are still out in the middle, so we may yet see some play shortly.

I can see still people playing cricket on the hills at the side of the ground.
I didn't think we'd see any cricket today so I'm done with predictions.

There aren't many umbrellas up at the moment.
Hold on a minute - maybe the rain isn't quite as heavy as we thought. This could just be a passing shower.
If so the players could be out in the middle pretty quickly.

We can really see the rain lashing across the floodlights.

It is coming down sideways.
Would you believe it.
Seconds after the two anthems were belted out with gusto the rain began to come down.
It looks pretty heavy too so there will be a delayed start.
Frustration all round.

I don't think either team would have had a massive preference over batting and bowling.
South Africa: Temba Bavuma (capt), Quinton de Kock (wk), Rilee Rossouw, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Tristan Stubbs, Wayne Parnell, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi.
Zimbabwe: Regis Chakabva (wk), Craig Ervine (capt), Wesley Madhevere, Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Milton Shumba, Ryan Burl, Luke Jongwe, Richard Ngarava, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani.
Zimbabwe beat Scotland and Ireland either side of a defeat to West Indies to top Group B and reach the Super 12s.
They have an awful white-ball record against South Africa, though. They have never beaten them in a T20 international and have only two one-day wins to their name - and you have to go back to the turn of the century for those.
Bangladesh beat the Netherlands by nine wickets in Monday's earlier game.
It is their first win in the main stage of a T20 World Cup since the inaugural tournament in 2007 - though they survived a late scare thanks to some brilliant hitting by Colin Ackermann.
For more on that encounter check out my colleague Ffion Wynne's match report here.
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma: "Preparations have been a little bit different because we had the weather to contend with in Brisbane so we've had to spend some times indoors trying to get strong.
"We've got confidence and belief in our abilities and we're strengthened our resources since last year."
Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine: "We want to get runs on the board and that'll be a good start. The wicket will quicken up as the game goes on.
"It is a little bit of advantage [having played three games at this ground already] and we'll try to utilise it."
Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine calls correctly and decides to have a bat first.
Unfortunately the weather may play a part in this match. It is grey, damp and cold in Hobart.
The Bangladesh-Netherlands game was briefly interrupted by rain, which resulted in a late finish and a further shower delayed the toss for this match.
Thankfully it is dry again now so the captains have made their way to the middle...
The T20 World Cup really burst into life with that Virat Kohli-inspired thriller at the MCG on Sunday.
What will the new week bring us? Bangladesh and Netherlands have already played out an exciting finish (more of that later) but now it is time for South Africa's first match of the tournament as they take on Zimbabwe.
